Armsmen aren't group characters ? :( Thought alot of people would of realised how good they can be in groups by now.

Well anyway, tested new DR cap and its 755 with plain old thruster poles and 768 with my 99% legendaries. Which is a bit dissapointing, it looks like the extra quickness i've pumped into my template has really harmed my damage cap alas.

Ah I see, so its my fault then that you were late toaing up, and that you didn't have your own buff bot is it? Sorry but if you missed the opportunity to make most of your class, don't come blaming me because I did, at least when I did it, my class actually was considered weak at the time.

Gods of dueling? I wish, damn good at it yes, but far far from the best, theres plenty of other classes far better at it, and that is all relative to whom you are dueling against. Besides, I stopped dueling back in old frontiers, now its the actual soloing and hunting I enjoy more.

Class has been loved to much?

Do you actually read the patch notes?

The Armsman class has only ever recieved 1 single bit of love in 5 years of daoc, and that was when they changed the joke of a RA Snapshot, which took them over a year to do.

Every single other piece of love the Armsman has got has been a general change to all heavy tanks equally, which has benefited warriors and your heros just the same.

Yet I don't see you whining at them either

Oh and before you whine about defenders rage, that style has been exactly the same for 5 years it just took most other people a heck of a long time to realise how good it was, the change to the opening was actually to fix a huge fuck-up mythic did when they tried tampering with it and stopped it working completely.
Firstly...A warrior wont hit me for huge dmg with insane growth, i highly doubt a hero would do the same either, however yes the love has been all over the heavy tank board

Dont blame me for albs not being smart enough to wise up and realise what a good class an armsmen can be.

Missed the opportunity to make the most of my class, by doing what, opening a buffbot account so i can sit in dl/odins/hw yelling lfg hoping someone will group me? tbh there aint much you make out of a chanter i can pb, debuff, stun and err nuke? with a pet which heals at 30%.. not that great.

and btw, state the classes you find tough, i'd like to know, cos when i played my m8s, like i said i only lost to the odd valk and wardens pissed over me.

Gratz Kagato.

Even tho we've had our discussions,
we always agreed on disagreeing in the end.

You've been a great mentor so far, even without you knowing it yourself.

There is only a few real armsman geeks.
But if i am one of them, you are "The One".

Gratz man :drink: :drink: :drink:

Btw, i hit harder than you :p

No, a warrior or a hero wont likely hit you harder, they have different advantages, as is correct and how the game should be, their advantages lay in being actually harder to kill, not in damage.

I didn't say you should open a bot account, im just saying its not my fault you werent able to make most of your chanter, which many others did.

Classes I find tough? theres plenty, wardens, vw, valks, shamans, bd's, sm's, warriors, heros, champs if their rr5 is up and mine is down, and theres probably more but those are the ones of top of my head.

Hitting hard simply comes down to how slow you want to swing, I've had damage caps over 800+ before, but I wouldn't swing as fast, and that was back when low RR and pre-toa.

I've decided to try and speed up my swing time with latest template to increase my damage over time and help deal with wardens and hot's etc. It may be better, it may not, i'll test it and see. If I dropped my quickness with my 71 pole spec I could technically hit hardest of any Armsman in game, but that doesn't necessarily mean its the best way to go.

Congratulations, Kagato! :)

Respect to you for sticking with your class for so long.
I can't understand why some of you are whining about how OPed armsmen are. Sure they are a tough class now, but it's not like people should reroll to another class when their favorite class finally gets some loving. :p

Even though I am not a fan of Kagato, his RR11 >>> your RR12 by any means.
Will not waste much words on your comment, I'd say his playstyle >>> yours by any means too.

Only times I met you solo you, you just snared and ran for the nearest stretch of water so you could bob-abuse and still kept running away for miles.
When I ran, I simply left because I got fed up of wasting half an hour chasing after you.
But feel free to come try again if you've grown a pair of balls now.

if you would actully spend as much time playing daoc as you do here on FH, im sure more people would take your ever returning posts more serious.. or well atleast they would be closer to reality.

and ps who are you ingame anyway, you seem to have a big mount, but im not sure where to place you on the map.

I play the game quite often and I spent more time in game than on the forums.

What do you expect me to say? You're an idiot in my eyes. One can get this from your "I think I am leet"-comments on FH easily. You think that playing in a strong set group farming bad set groups or randoms for a million RPs a week on a Chanter or a Runemaster is an achievement? Hahaha... You're deluding yourself.

You comment on his playstyle, while not only I met you while I was soloing a couple of times stuck to a Bard (reality as you call it), aren't you a bit hypocritcal?

Once upon a time WI seemed to be a group that didn't care much about how the others play the game and that refrained from flaming others, but hey with Scrouger, you and VF you ended in the same league of retards like half of Maelstrom.

Congratulations.

if that bard was stuck to my ass everytime I went out, I dont see how I could have lone enforcer. And its not for zerging as I like competition. And if you ask the real 1v1 community, not the shit tards left on the server im sure they will vouch for that. I dont see a problem thou grouping up with a bard if you zerglings are out having your fun, need cc to hold you cows down for a while..:m00:

That's a priceless post.

I am sorry to burst your bubble, but Lone Enforcer on a Chanter doesn't mean anything and solo'ing on a Chanter has nothing competitive.

The real community doesn't give a shit about caster classes pretending to solo. But I am quite sure you can explain how hard and challenging it is to solo on a Chanter to me, but somehow I have the feeling that most of your solo kills came from enemies dying within the stun duration and if not, hey you came with your own speed, started nuking from 1650 units with own debuff and always kept the range. That's competitive mate, tomorrow I'll tell you about how I became Lone Enforcer on a Sorc! Then I just need to find some cock suckers who will vouch for me, since I solo'ed on a Sorc and it has to be competitive, it has too, it has too... Just the strafing, but well...

I said "couple times" about the Bard and you, it isn't "everytime", is it? :touch:

About the "shit tards" left on the server, there are still a few that give a good fight and play fair but what can I say, you play on Avalon making movies about how you beat the bestestest groups there and your ego is somewhere on the moon. I could make a scientific analysis of how your Shaman is casting freely all the time or about some certain Albion group's high RR tanks trying to train a BG'ed target together or how easy a Midgard set group is, proving that this is only a non-professional game with some balance flaws and a wide range of player skill while you think you're Michael Jordan in a professional league playing against the Celtics, Lakers, Pistons, Knicks and Jazz and on top of the world.

Knock, knock. You're not.

Call me a cocksucker if you want but I'll just say what've seen.

Everytime I've seen staj solo, he's been heading to the most 'dangerous' solo zones (Brynja, Occassus) and yes it's nothing really competitive to take out a tank from max range. But many times he took out smaller groups, or doues of stealthers and that's is competitive i tell you. You just have to see it to understand.

Reminds me some of Maeloch, but still not in the same league. Maeloch is just great, awesome.

Rest I agree on, more or less, but maybe more less.

Have nothing to say about kag really, haven't actually met him with my shadowblade I think. But somehow I get the feeling it wouldn't be such a interesting fight anyways.

So far no complaints, i've never been happy with how much damage is reduced in comparison to how little quickness is added, but frontloading is just to punishing when theres so many classes with HoT's or healing pets now.

However it is difficult to judge fairly as theres alot of other major changes I made with my current template, but over all survivability has increased I think.

lol real 1 v 1 community? what would you know about that, all you ever did was zerg random groups or kite soloers with a bard stuck to your ass.

Don't try and act like your anything special, you have no idea about 'competition', any sign of danger and you just run away to the nearest stretch of water. I've seen gold fish with more balls.

Manisch - staj isn't even in the same league as Maeloch, Maeloch I actually have some respect for and is a good fight.

well having watched your movie, it dosent take much brain to stand head to head with an arms spamming anytime. I guess you would try to do the same with a caster, standing stil and all, althou I think you got the brain to calculate the difference ;)

I have never ran from a fair fight, its just how you play to gain advantage on your opponent, you know yourself how we have had pushing and kiting fights. To bad never in your favor :(

Yeah, thats why I use 7 styles on my quickbar lol.

Never ran from a fair fight lol? several times i've chased you all the way into the irish sea and you've still kept on going lol. And the other times you had your bard bot. I guess the bard is how you play to your advantage is it? :m00:

I get chased out to desert areas alot, first because I dont wanna get adds from people like yourself, and second to be able to kill you? Cant kill an arms with resists & chants up in 1650 range.

I only get a bard friend out once you and your pals got me pinned down 1 to many times

give it a rest, playing a heavy tank solo > playing a caster solo, we have only had to much love in the last 6 months or so, casters have been god mode for 4+ years
