Does anyone else find the Grand Prix's usualy boring? After the first 3 laps its more or less the same leader for the whole race...

Now with BTCC theres tons of overtaking, crashes (\o/), and the positions are always changing, what are your views?

Isn't Indycar just like US Formula 1? Thought the oval racing was NASCAR or something.

F1's alright, sometimes it can be quite exciting as it's very tactical and if the positions are switching a lot then it's great to watch, the majority of the time I find it quite boring though.

but then people say football is boring, so something is clearly wrong with the world.

The new F1 rules have made for some nice races this year. I've always thought the lower formulas had better racing though, the teams are more equal.
British touring cars used to be a lot better than it is today imo.

This seasion has been the best yet, sure it was a tedious procession for a few years but the changes made for this seasion resulted in 4 or 5 drivers with the chanch to win the title with 2 races to go, its not been that close in a long time.

Saying that after todays race at indionablabla it looks like shuey has it in the bag, just needs one point from the final race.

Indycar is open wheeled racing on ovals and circuits

NASCAR is saloon car racing on ovals

Anybody who thinks that lower league motor racing is more exciting than F1 is talking bollocks (believe me I know)

BTCC was only ever exciting because the races were edited to remove the boring stuff, and to make everything more gung-ho (speaking as somebody who filmed the races)

Anybody who saw the first ever BTCC night race at Snettertonwill agree that my shot (long shot down the back straight, headlights blinding the viewer) was by far the best, no argument, thank you

Mank , its a sports forum mainly full of football threads. Theres no harm in posting a thread in the General Forum if you think your going to get a better response. Its just the same way that some people post Hardware/software questions in the GF to get a better response, or the people who open threads for the attention of one person.

It just gets me when people get high and mighty about what should and should not be posted where, when and how many times.

Krypt is a twat. But he shouldnt be totally berated, with every thread that he posts, just because he is Krypt.

..and I dont get at eveyone who is anti Krypt. Hell Ive had a go several times myself at him, and no doubt will again in the future if he hasnt learnt his lessons. I only get at the plonkers who show the same level of maturity as Krypt ( an more recently , less maturity)

Explain how pointing someone in the direction of the correct forum is being 'high and mighty'? The reason we got a sports forum was because whenever I posted a football related thread in here people moaned. Face it, football is the most popular sport in the country so the forum is bound to be dominated by it. Same with the music forum being dominated with rock music over pop.

No, there's not any real harm but the subforums are here for a reason and unless people use them, they're utterly useless. That's why I linked the forum, and then contributed to the thread might I add.

I didn't create a song and dance about it, I did it and came back when I next went to check the forums. I lost my temper and deleted my account, that's the difference.
