At 00:00 11th Feb the game shop Webhallen will be holding an event and will be selling WoW boxes. This is ofc much appreciated, and I have a small doubt that I'll be able to make it up in time for work on Friday :/

Vivendi announced to Webhallen that they are opening the servers at 00:00, so they are arranging this event together. There will be gaming magainzes there, coffee and cookies, give-aways and a masquerade contest!

Ah well I've seen people do more extreme things than enjoy a late night event surrounding a game release really

It's odd though that a lot of people find it weird for those anticipating this game a lot to head out at midnight to get the game and meet people while eating cookies, while it's not nearly as odd to go and pay a lot more cash to drink alcohol at 02:00

Or is it just me? Don't get me wrong, I love going out with my friends to a nightclub or bar, but I also enjoy gaming a lot

Agree, I'm an MMORPG addict, but I still go out with friends and I have had a GF for 5 years, so you can mix RL and games.
But some still look funny at me and don't understand my passion

I find the cookies and coffee to be great They sell them to the people in the que so you're not "wasting" any time standing around eating them

00:00-01:00 they have the stores open, and moi will be there, doing emotes like /silly /train and /laugh atleast 45minutes before they open.
