those are the only ones i know how to work out byhand. the reason i say by hand as the quest shouldnt require a second computer in order to play the game and therefor must be solve able by hand

The only thing i can gather is that the numbers from the broken tablet are different to different languages of the game, english is 8-6, and with the scroll from astorus being doubly important, i searched the eight/sixth numeber of each paragraph and came up with some nice lines....... (uk version) every 6th work from first paragraph ... location..of...harpies...with.....hidden....however...have...not...help That was using a mix of eight and 6th word. Other combos bring out equally interesting messages.

My head hurts now, gonna afk by some cool water and dip my feet in.

Does it say step 11 in your journal as you should have a cryptic scroll which is the last part of the quest.

you should have gotten two scrolls from the chest
1 damage scrolls (gives u a word each time u read it)
1Message of Astorus this is where u find the encrypt text
