Anyone know wen the servers will be up n running? ANY idea at all? like,, weeks? days?

Not looking to sharp there GOA, having a business where more than 40% of your customers are not happy stands out like a virgin on prom night. You seriously need to rethink your company strategy. I'll refrain from voting as I don't have much experience with GOA, but I do know that a 40% unhappy customer statistic is VERY VERY bad for a company. And then you have 10% who are unsure.... I've seen public bathrooms that were in better shape than GOA is at the moment.

jobil this poll is in no way representative for how everyone actually thinks about goa, for one the people not visiting BW are the ones who are happier about goa. Secondly this is a bad time for such a poll as goa is now in a bad situation which rarely happens. Now if you take this poll in 2 months you will see way more yes votes. If you would take the votes of all the players, you would get more yes votes as BW isnt an average for the goa customer.

lame. GOA have proven that they are a crap company from day one. Who in their right mind is going to collect some sort of portfolio of "evidence"??

But, for example, they continue to demonstrate their third-world abilities and qualitiy with this latest debacle (which could easily have been avoided just by allowing us to EASILY change all our own passwords and advising us to do so...like every other damn company on the planet would have), their months-long translation struggles for the patches, and their outrageous fee increases without any corresponding escalation of services.

Shoot em all and let god sort them out.

If you compare GOA's services to other MMORPH games services then I say they are better than 80% of them, judging from reactions from other players I know at work and from friends.

Not a bad job IMO, but ppl will always whine about something.

I voted Yes.

GOA are capable of Running the EU servers.

Stability, and general downtime are, in my opinion, very good compared to other online games i have played.

But, i am afriad i am with a majority of people, when i say there information management and customer support skills/ideas are to be honest, sub par.

I have been in the service industry in one form or another, since i started working. And GOA's customer service is bad. There is no way around it.

There are some individuals who care over there... If only they were listened to.

1 - Support your customers (after all, we are paying more than we were for our subs now... where is the justification?)

2 - Info managment... If you can't support your customer for some reason... explain why.

About server stability, i vote yes. The game is up almost always. But there are major lag issues in big battles, and that should be where the fun begins imo.

Customer service and information, as said above, a big nono.

What GOA have done well:

European web site is well designed and presented

In game events are an excellent idea. Hats off to them for trying. (even though the events suxed they desearve credit for trying)

Offer compensation, even though its always minor I appreciate it when they offer it.

The right now support generally works in my experience you usually get some sort of response within a reasonable time frame.

What GOA dont do well:

Communicate within reaonsable time frame information regarding outages and faults.

Give estimated resolution times (we dont want them to be accurate and we wont hold them to the times but ERT's are greatly appreciated)

Fix serious issues within reasonable time frames. (Chronicles, admin site outages, game bugs) I dont care if ultimately its down to mythic to provide a solution, some of the time frames we have waited for things to be fixed in the past has gone beyond taking the piss. 6 months of no chronicles. I want to know exactly what the problem was and a statement of why it took 6 months to fix. My guess is it was a very simple problem but they didnt have the expertise to deal it with and passed the problem to mythic who didnt treat it with any urgency.

Listen to their customers.

Im a pretty reasonable guy and I ussualy defend GOA when I hear some of the comments made by people on these boards. However this problem with the subs page is really stopping me playing the game and they arnt really giving me any confidence that they are going to get it back or that they even care. All the polite mails I have sent inquiring when this issue will be resolved have been ignored.

If GOA at least gave us 1 update each day the servers are still down, everyone would be much happier i rekon.

Why they dont do this i realy dont know, its weird.
I believe the game will be running by tmoz, or df the next day.

voted yes cos in the time i've been palying the servers are up just bout 99% the time roughly (few fuck ups here and thier) but overall they DO give a good service. Like someone else sed they give a far greater service than 80% (prolly even more than that) of other mmorpgs out there.

They fucked up with bad security they're now dealing with it, i hope, as fast and effectivly as possible.

The only fault i can find with them is thier inability to communicate with us, the ppl who pay them, which leads to ppl speculating and then all the whines start making a bad atmosphere.

9/10 for keeping the servers going and ingame events ect ect
1-2/10 for communication

(but which would u rather have a company that fucks up 90% the time but explains in great detail wot has happened or a company that has a perfectly running game 99% the time and is a bit bad at communication... i know which i'd prefer and we already have it)

and most say that the servers are fine its just the CS that is crap.
