(GM) Traitors Encounter

Hopefully a GM will read this. This post basically says that I think there is something wrong with the Traitors spawning rate.

Tonight, 13/12/04 I camped the Staff of God artifact encounter zone, at the spot where Traitors supposed to spawn. Camped this for about 1 and a half hours before deciding to log my bot on, and leave it there. I then decided to move to Boreal and to traldors. It wasn't spawned there so I moved croc isles, and back after not finding it. After about 20 mins at traldors, I met Mumbo. We agreed that I would wait at the croc isles, and he at traldors, while my bot left at SoG.

From he being at traldors, and me camping both SoG and Croc isles, it hasn't popped. I know it might be my own stupidity, but yesterday Mumbo tried himself to find Traitors, but never found it. I also led a small guild grp with skald speed to find it. We checked all the spots and we never found it.

Just wanted to know if any GM can check out the respawn timer on Traitors on Camlann and see if anything was wrong. Pre NF it was alright, and it spawned within an hour. Now its just taking forever.

Still at Croc, bot at SoG and Mumbo at traldors atm ;D

just so you know he does wander a lot, ive found him at SoG near the shoreline of the Eastern Island so if your sat there you wont see him unless you look... when hes mini croc and shark he can be hard to spot sometimes.. not often these things get bugged.

For the CSRs better talk to 1 of those volunteers to help gm's, the lists for each server are in the main page. Will be fastest way imo, don't think a gm will read much the pvp forums

And checked the coastline as well with my bot and couldn't find it. Went to check traldors again since Mumbo logged, and died. So kinda gave up and cba with Traitors any more.

if i didnt read wrong, u are camping 3 spots, but, they are really 4:


---in between the 3 croc islands, Boreal, 56k, 27k (he was a tiny crocodile)

---Traldor's Temple, Boreal, 13410, 61347 (he was a triton)

---Staff of Gods at Mesothalassa 15151, 58638 (he was shark)

---at the edge of water and shore, Meso 19191,61213 (maybe a sobekite or a gator)

the last one, the 4th, u should check it, might be there.

Thats part of the Staff of God area, so I kinda included that in a spot I checked. Just moved my bot around the area searching for the mob, and never found it.

And even if it did pop there, what are the chancing of it not popping at SoG for around 3hrs 30 mins, or even popping at Traldors or Croc isles for an hour?

something i should say - if it has run away from people (because they backed off), he might be stuck at the edge of an island in meso or hesperos somewhere.

He has a despawn timer if he had ran off for a while though, so it can't explain the long camping time unless two people tried to attack, and he backed off. Still wouldn't really explain him not popping in all 4 spots in that single hour while I was camping them in Mumbo.

afaik Camlann don't have any.

Traitors has always been a pain in the arse for me aswell here and on excal. Only found him once in about 5 separate attempts. Just leave it and try again in a day or two imo.

camlann might not have any, but u can always log in excal or pryd and talk to 1

i remember finding him near that underwater warehouse with the arte. i cant remember the name and tbh who cares.

check on the surface and the sea bed as he can be on both. i looked for ages then when almost giving up i swam to the surface and saw the little shit bag waiting.

just a guess but i think its traldors temple from what zelh wrote

always check the surface as he does not always hang aboput at the bottom

oh yeah at traldors loc he spouts some crap about magic explosions in the sea or some crap like that

Except that toughness only raises hits, and Yoshimo doesn't want to get hit?
