I never have any long lost dreams about OF, but I barely played rvr back then, so that might be why >.< I can only remember the bits of rvr that I did, and I did't like them

Loved all aspects of OF, except the long run to emain that is. But if I got to choose I would still pick that 10 min run rather then NF.

I tried out OF again and it really sucks for stealthers. For fg's it's kinda nice but so is aggramon if it would be used. So can't really see that many benefits with it, they could of course make an access way to it from the 3 realms as they did with aggra but alot of peps would still just zerg farm and the place would probably be kinda empty. Imo I think I actually like NF more, never thought I would say this.

What is needed is more fg's and that they start to use aggramon and everything would be great.
For the stealth part the bridges around beno, dc and bleed is 10xbetter then the old milegates in emain (was just fg's of stealthers there :<).

agramon from a sorc's pov at least is TEH SUX u have only range to win mezz and its full of cliffs los bugs etc really teh suckier place to land a mezz tbh could never run fg there without sos up xD at least for albs

So Albs getting killed at their border keep or chainowned by shrooms and opted groups at amg was fun? Hibs running 10 minutes to emain just to get killed was fun? Stealthers getting killed left and right and amg, mmg while they were fighting other stealthers by fullgroups was fun?

OF was Emain and Odins. Thats it. Boring Layout, shite Relic Raids (compared to nf), too much time without action.

Of had some good sides but overall nf is far better.

memories are memories and numbers on our clustered X2 servers shows that this is crap gogo for like devon cluster on US X4 or X5? servers? to get some peeps?

just my opinion surly people do the difrence but most quit because of this and i know what irl friends think 9 to 10 quit well if it was an old game it would of die in 2-3 years like all does (dont know many that last 3 years anyway lol )

OF probably wasn't the playground I'm sure a lot of us somehow recall but as many people have pointed out in other threads, people weren't as clued up or serious there as they are now in NF.

There was just less to worry about... Your template didn't have to be perfect to get grps, you didn't have to be high RR, there just seemed to be less pressure somehow.

As for Agramon. I like the zone but ther eare to many 'lag hotspots' it kills teh area

Well how come the population back then was x2 then it was now?

I think OF was much better than NF, that said I think everything about the game was better back then, I think because of that people look back and remember OF better than it actually was....

I think OF was much better than NF, that said I think everything about the game was better back then, I think because of that people look back and remember OF better than it actually was....

Yeah because people might have lost interrest in 5 years of playing but surely that has everything to do with NF and not with just losing interrest after 5 years of playing a game.

Yus, cause OF was only in the game after three years! I didn't notice any severe population decrease after the release of NF - surely some OF bomber groups stopped playing cause they couldn't bomb zergs anymore, but oh well.
