Moderator for General Forum
I cant help wondering why the regulars on here suddenly decided they needed a moderator.
Might it by chance anything to do with the recent Jolt related postings on here, and the subsequent argy bargy?
Please, dont get me wrong, I want users of this forum to feel at home and looked after, but I cant help think that you want a moderator amongst you so you can delete posts you dont like with extreme prejudice.
In some ways, this isnt such a bad thing, but you guys are not exactly known for your tolerance, and I've seen many minor sinners roasted over a spit in here over the last few months. I must admit to giggling at them, but giving you guys the power to delete posts and threads puts a whole new context on it.
I'm happy to have a moderator on here for the right reasons, but i suspect that wrong reasons instigated this thread.
I'm all for tolerance and understanding, not deleting threads and posts at the drop of a hat (except spam adverts. I'm happy to see viral marketing posts deleted without any headwear having to be removed at all) and letting people have their say.
So, if a moderator is to be imposed upon the world in this forum, this person needs to be tolerant, considerate, unafraid of criticism, reasoned and mature.
Otherwise yer stuck with us muppets

I couldn't care less tbh. As long as I can still post with a high degree of autonomy I'll still be happy. But Emb will delete all posts in favour of ATi, PS2 or Intel, so I dont thing he is the right choice. How about Glynn3rs? He'd be an ace mod!!!"!"!
