You don't need the redstone torches thoguh Raven. They help you determine what the maximum range is.

Done a few of these so, hopefully can explain;

1: Set down marker 1.
2: Go to a X direction and set down marker 2, make sure that it's level with your other marker(can use scaffolds etc, as long as it's level) (right click it, should be a red line from marker 1, if not, not level)
3: Go to a Y direction from your marker 2 and set it down(again level) (right click it).
4: There should now be a red box from marker to marker to marker. If not, restart.
5: PLace quarry next to one of the markers.
6: Make sure the quarry is outside the red lines!
7: Hook up and dig away.

Just put a box, wooden transport pipe, redstone engine to power that pipe to the incinerator, hide everything behind the wall except the box and presto, instant garbage box

I am planning on aiming for that at some point, after I have figured out how to power my quarries by solar power so I can just leave them running!

lol i just put windmills on top of me house to run all me machines but quarrys are a pain cause they over filll me chests and lose stuffs .. i run them only for a few hours when i can monitor them heh .. doesnt appear to make enough solar from a lv one to power it and charge a bat box or anything and big solar costs a lot in resources

Moriath without a multichest + diamond pipe system where it sorts things into several locations, overflow is a real problem as cobblestone is abundant.

Quarry -> pipe -> diamond pipe(as many as you need) -> several chests.

I have about 8 double boxes full of cobblestone now, incinerating it all!

I will look into wind power though.

Pretty cheap to make, might yield profit and for a mass fabricator it's a gift from heavens.

I can hook up a "steal" pipe to your cobblestone if you want

i have a diamond pipe one chest for good stuff three for cobbles / dirt that i keep emptying into the nearest piece of lava i can find hehe

I use geothermal and solar power. I have a half built reactor containment facility under my house. RF glass dome with a forcefield generator.


If you want a power tap, theres a MFSU under the wheat field to the east of my house, that'd be the easiest tap in point.

My chest/pipe network it pretty big. Just opened a new quarry that is close to 64 blocks...I think its about 40x50 or something...tonnes of junk there. Everything of use is sorted nicely though so in theory (with proper power) I could run a couple of quarries non-stop without worrying about storage.

I had a problem with pipe overflow where stuff was going backwards, shortening the pipe network and sticking some gold pipes down seemed to fix that. I am also incinerating gravel, flint, dirt and cobblestone for now, I will need more at some point but I need to get some electric furnaces going first to turn what I have into stone. coal/charcoal burners are becoming a bit of a pain in the arse, I seem to spend most of my time chopping trees down to feed my engines and generator.

I think the weekend will be spent mostly sorting out my power supply!

Also building another new house...3rd in a week. because the others arent big enough! New one is marble though, just need to add the solar panel roof! Going to sort out the underground part with proper storage and workshop.

Looking at it now, I think that would suit my power needs for now - maybe not the quarry but certainly everything else.

You need some:

waterproof pipes
1x pump
2x redstone engine

+ Geothermal Gens


I take my lava from the nether world. So if you have a waterproof phased pipe you can tap into my endless lava source for free lava, if you come to my house with a phase waterproof transport pipe, i'll hook you up

It'll use it up after a while. every tick of the pump removes a block of "stilll" lava in a connected stream, so eventually it'll drain the pool.


Outside my house there is a stone brick building. Inside of which is an MFSU and a lava pipe. People are free to hook up to either of those sources

You need a lava source to take it from(with iron bucket). Source blocks are much like water, non flowing ones.
