Well ye be asking fer reasons, here's the old noggin dustings.

Ch3t been, since this whole dillydally started, acting mighty vocal on the demsize of ol Olga. To me that rings like a bell at supper time that if he indeed were one of dem rotten eggs, he'd keep his yap shut.

Why i think we's be needing a mayur, well a town needs a mayur for daily run'ins and whatnot.

I might be naked and playing hackey sack, but like I said before, the most likely way to vote for a "good" mayor at this stage, if you want to vote at all, is to base it on random chance and not let it be swayed by what people are saying..

Obv you've got to watch out for the baddies trying to sway the vote one way or another. So you never know what's really going on. Therefore we need a random number generator that hasn't been invented yet.

Basically we be doomed.

However, on a positive note, whilst Chosen was busy drinking and brooding like a real cowman, I have stolen his trousers. Win.

Howdy y'all ... been sleepin' on ma porch ... missed all the fuss.

Damn shame 'bout the Mayor ... he sure was someone to ride the river with.

Note to the town 'sign-writer' ... the name's 'Itcheh' ... not Itched ... I ain't no verb in the past tense!

As for votin' ... well I ain't ready to see an innocent man get hanged ... and I ain't in a hurry to see no mudsill as the new Mayor neither.

Seems to me, if your going to have election you need candidates. So I would suggest those that want it put themselves forward and state their manifesto.

By already having 2-3 of the villagers voting for you on the first day, inst that being influential? You don't have to be a wheel scientist to understand that you got the touch on some of the villagers here

But he's done nothing to have the touch on some villagers. Its not like he's deduced who murdered Olga over yonder in his house. I do believe they've been dreaming about someone else known as Chet somewhere else. I'm actually thinking that a new mayor might only be useful once we've have had a day or two to mull things over, I don't want to rush into anything considering the numbers involved in this here town.

Tbh i'm more for the option of not having a mayor on the first day. Doesn't really gives us any advantage other then that his vote counts for 2 (while on first day we randomly vote anyway).

vote no lynch

Too many variables, too high a chance of hitting a goody, equal chance of hitting a good special role as a bad one. No point voting a mayor until we have more to go on. Let's see what the night brings.

Thanks for the defence by the way Uara, was about to have to spit at Chosen's meta feet.

That does not make sense tho, why would someone actually vote for ch3t when he have done nothing? I am a newcomer to this village, and seeing this weird action makes me wonder. It might be nothing, but still shows that he got some kinda influence on 2-3 of the villagers, if it is just a coincidence or not is yet to see. To early to make any judgement anyway

Ok lets follow that line of thinking because I think you might be on to something there....you are right in the fact that we have nothing to go on....and yet somehow someone has gotten 2 votes already.....could just be chance...but it's something to take note of.

I can go with daat dere no lynch, though i feel the night'll fall on us before we get to a majuurity vote. We ain't got a bats chance in hell of voting anything smart anyways.

Whoa nilly. A right ol No Lynch bandwagon is it? Nobody wants to be the one left behind to be pointed at tomorrow as not voting the way of the herd? Well I'm going to purposly stand out here. Even if we do go with a No lynch vote today, rushing headlong into it without anyone saying anything leaves us with very little to go on tomorrow. So yeah I'm not voting for a no lynch yet if at all, suspicion be damned!

I'm confused.

Correct me if I'm wrong.. Basically our options are..
1) We vote a mayor = chance of goodie having +1 vote / chance of baddie having +1 vote (4:1 odds in favour of goodie or something - don't quote me on the maths, just guessing as cba to scroll up)
2) We vote a lynch / no lynch = 4:1 odds we lynch a goodie by mistake as we know basically nothing
3) Either way, someone will probably die tonight.

In which case, vote: no lynch, as the risk is too high.

I'd consider voting a mayor whilst the random chance odds are in our favour, but I'm simple and I don't understand how things will work further down the line - will we know better in a day or two ? Or will there just be greater odds of picking a baddie ?

Sorry, I'm slow post-night shifts down at the salloon. I've put my clothes back on now though.

As the shadows of the comming nightfall creeps up on the little settlement,
The townsfolk, feel they need to make haste on a decision, after a short but productive deliberation.
They come to the conclusion it was probebly just a fluke, maybe suicide ? who knows!
thus it just might be best to sleep on it and see what the morning brings.

As they adjourn the meeting, on his way out Itcheh accidently knocks over Chosens whisky glass.
- You'll be paying for a new one there stranger!
- It was an accident, and anyway that glass was as good as empty,
- is that so ? care to step outside ?
- why ? I can just as well wipe the floor with you right here
" Itcheh takes a swing, he misses and hits, Opticle
- Why you!
"Toht jumps in"
- Yeehaw!

and before you know it.....
