Gamestop reliable for shipping outside US?

"Hi, it's Barbara from UPS... driver forgot to collect the Customs and broker charge.... blah blah... £16.41 due... blah blah .. we'll collect payment tomorrow"

Did you buy the Collectors' Edition? I had to, because they'd run out of normal ones :/ (at least I get some in-game sunglasses! And a sew on patch, great!!!) My shipping costs are higher than the normal one (because it's heavier), and my import fees will be higher as well. Pretty annoyed over all, really.

That said, UPS were supposed to pick up a cheque from me today and they haven't shown yet.

Well that sucks, I want the game badly as well so ordered from gamestop.com on Envenom advice (they mess it up I am coming to find you dude)

As the game itself was 'back ordered' I have also had to get the collectors edition ... $70, motherfuckas! and $20 on top of that for international delivery, now you say UPS are gonna charge me nearly £20 for delivery!!!!

How much you reckon thats gonna add up to in £'s roughly?

Anyway I have let my aggression go now.. sort of :mgwhore2:

Will be cool to be playing along side you guys, gonna be a commando or bounty hunter I think, what faction have you guys joined on eclipse?

I emailed gamestop.com asking and they sent me this:

So I replied with:

Yeah thanks, if I wanted you to copy and paste from the FAQ and email it to me I would have asked. I need to know of any charges from the delivering service (UPS?), you must know which company you use to deliver packages to the UK and whether theres a charge on delivery.

Just got an answer from them saying:

Dear GameStop.com Customer,

Thank you for writing to us at GameStop.com.

UPS to our knowledge fees to them have been paid.

He didnt charge me anything beside the money gamestop paid them. I guess UPS is the same in UK as in Norway?

I had mine sent with DHL ( didnt use gamestop.com though ) and they didnt charge me any of this extra fee crap thank god.

Wops, just got en email from UPS, they have paid my custom taxes and the VAT, and they add an extra 100kr (8£) for delivery.
They are sending me a bill so I can pay for it later.

UPS use Lynx express for they're UK orders, i was expecting a fat little import bill when i ordered the beta cd's but never got anything.

I ordered the game from GameZone's and I think they work together with Gamestop or something because I did the order tracking on Gamestop.

Anyway, I got my copy three days after they shipped it and they shipped it as soon as they had it in stock.

So I would think Gamestop is reliable.
Oh and I live in Sweden by the way
So if that worked I'm sure UK is no problem.
