heh, I wouldn't pay for a gaypube... the flipper chip is already outdated and when we were watching people coo at 'amazing water effects' in waverace last week all i could think was that it didn't touch what I'd seen on XBox/NV25 or even Radeon 8500 - what were ati thinking? lol

heh, will probably end up with one next week at any length... anyone know what the 'a' line apps are? am too lazy to look tonight :/

on that note, a snes would have been even cheaper... lol

if you aren't buying the latest console to get the latest 'and greatest' (LOL) hardware why did you just go and drop money on a console on it's release day? did you feel nintendo hadn't made quite enough $$$ and wanted to donate some of your own hard-earned to their cause? lol

Amazingly though, and I think you all may need to sit down for this, I got a good deal from........................ PC World !!!!

I think the company brain cell was being used elsewhere and they didnt realise they were giving a good deal.

Base cube £99 and then you had to buy a 3rd party extra controller and depending on which deal you went for 2,3 or 4 extra titles at about 40 quid a throw

Therefore for £239 I got Gamecube, 2 controllers (one of which third party) and Tony Hawks 3, ISS 2 and Rogue Leader

I think the 2 game pack was about 180 but the choice of games are actually good ones !

Getting mine from work today I think, with a memcard and two games (luigi's mansion and rouge squadron) for £199 (Plus a nice 20% off ).

Cant decide whether to get the purple or black one though, wish the orange (yellow? or fire?) one was available over here.

Dunno if I'm gonna get 1, Nintendo have always been poor value for money with me, the style of games that are released on their machines are too childlike. Normally only 1 or 2 games I like .

All RGB leads are sold out which pissed me off a bit and there is NO WAY I am shelling out £25 for another pad.
