You can indeed use the xbox controller but having nabbed one before when they were on sale at Argos, I actually use the remote as it'll power up my TV and do the volume, etc.

It's gone up. It's $7.49 though so you can get it for about £4.

It's not really going to test anything. No cross platform game will because they are so old (in tech) Best test is still Crysis.

I got it free with my new PC so I'm not getting another copy even though it is £5!

Surprisingly enough, despite the fact that it's a fantastic looking game, it doesn't test PC's that much as it's been very well optimised indeed. Absolute corker of a game.

Crysis refuses to work on some Win7 machines full stop, too. Worth considering.

Tried all the possible helps and advice there was, there's no way of it working for me. Seems pretty random from what I read about it. It works for some but not others. I'll just wait for 2.

Haven't had a problem at all running Crysis on 64-bit Win7 either.

Dunno if this will or won't be true but it's rumoured that all gaming shizzle will be 20% off at Tesco starting tomorrow (Tuesday 15th February 2011).

So, steams doing a deal where if you pre order Portal 2 on pc you get Portal 1 free and can gift it to a friend. It's also 10% off. Save 10% on Portal 2 on Steam

Or you can get a free PC Portal 2 with a purchase of PS3 Portal 2? Hmm...

Oh it's £13 cheaper on pc
