Got mirrors edge yesterday and completed it today, well worth the £3. something i spent on it.
As proven in the time trials and speed runs. There is a way to do the each stage in a blistering fast time but you need to know your controls very well indeed.I don't agree tbh, I think making it a sandbox would dilute the gameplay in some way. Make it feel too unfocused. There were choices on a microcosmic level - aside from there being two paths to take for most things, the way you take those paths, what moves you do could be changed for varying degrees of efficiency.
So is Mafia 2 worth £5? Halflife games are extra cheap on steam atm too, in case you're like me and were missing one of the episodes
STALKER CoP and SoC, £3 for both of 'em on Steam, quite tempted.
Yeah I don't know how Edmond does it, must have multiple pcs and hard drives
I played (technically I should say "I watched Will play") Borderlands while visiting Will this new year's. Looked fun! Is it available on PC?
Apparently Mass Effect 2 has a similar amount of gameplay but more involved storylines. We'll see.
Totally different game style though. Throws away almost every pretense of RPGness and becomes a talky-FPS.
