Friars in rvr?

Checked my friar last night, 33 rejuv, 49 enhance, 29 staff.. Healed for 430 without any healing bonus.

GoP wants me to go as a battle friar for the extra damage, and like Reaper said, You are NOT able to heal while bg'ing, but you can fight.

So I'm planning on respeccing to 39 staff, 15 rejuv, 49 enhance (yet again :-/)

The range on BG (~700 I think) kinda forces you to fight the tanks and I find making them weaker (BM 9-10 combo) way more effective than pure damage dealing. Like I said earlier I've had no problems with burning whole manabar on healing while BGing effectively - you just have to do it at the right time so the one you BG doesn't suffer too much from it (=die ) and this is the reason why I find top heals important. Oh, dont stand close to the one you BG unless it's PBAEr - usually tanks are smart enough to swap the target after BG-spam and if you stand close they will target you (and if they target you anyway you'll have time to cast 3+ heals easy enough before they are on you ).

-The only reason for high staff spec is damage - it really can't be explained with the need of interupting or with that BG breaks when casting.

-The reason for high rejuv spec is strong heals - something what common Alb group is lacking (when comparing to enemies).

Both are valid ways but lets not colour the reasons behind them too much - other one is for damage and another one for healing, that's about it, both are just as viable in other things (interupting, BGing etc.).

anyways balance out the friar instead .

46 enhance gives red heat resists just what friars MUST have as they R heat weak!
rej 15-18 get rid of that crappy ghetto rezz and still able to heal ok.

drop in a friar in a all caster grp. for dating the healer/shammy/druid/bard/warden... works grand almost everytime
