Free txt messages online?

Was wondering if anyone knows of a website that offers free txt messaging. Every site i go sign up to either does not work or is just a "scam?" to get your details..

ICQ sms sucks, and doesnt work to all networks.

I get 600 free on Genie/o2, depends when you registered I suppose.

Everytime I try and send one I get a delivery failure...and the number is correct...

You could try Lycos free txts. I know they work to the USA.
