Games Football Manager 2011

I've had a quick go of 2011 using Uncle Ron's Lower League Database which adds a couple more tiers under the conference. Did a season with Woodford which went disastrously so I started again with Bideford and I was halfway through the first season but I kinda lost the thread of it, not played the game for a month or so.

Maybe I'll go abroad. I've done Italy, Germany, Brazil and Spain in the last 4 games respectively, starting in the lowest division selectable and working up.

Won the treble with Guadalajara in FM 2010... only took me about 30 years to do it too.

Barcelona keep losing at around the quarters stage, not got to play them in knockout rounds in either of my 2 seasons - though just knocked out Real Madrid, good old away goal and keeping 2 clean sheets

Senior team - Won all competitions

Reserve team - Won reserve league. Was in 3rd coming into last game of season, 2 points behind leaders, Liverpool. I beat 2nd place Newcastle, and 4th place Sunderland beat Newcastle. This gave me the Reserve league championship, and Sunderland jumped to 2nd place

Under 18's - Won under 18s league, and the U18's cup competition. Got some killer U18s but it a shame many be moving to reserves soon.

Add to that Hernandez - 43 (8) appearances, 44 goals. Honestly cant complain about his contribution.

Its funny old game. Villa dodged Relegation last year whilst Wolves after getting relegated from the Prem are now proping up the CCC..

Nice clean sweep btw, managed to do that with Lille, it's an unbelieveable feeling but raising the expectations way to high imho.

Well I did do it with Man Utd, but considering i left the reserves/U18's to assistant etc I was surprised to see them come out on top. At one point my U18's were about 9points behind the leaders (funnily, that was Liverpool also), whilst they caught up and wrapped up the season with a match to go (unless they had about a 10goal difference turnaround) .. my reserves been right up the top and i thought they blew it when they lost to Newcastle and dropped to 3rd with a game to go. That probably was the best result of the lot!

I got to be honest though, not won the CL yet. Playing that shortly, but i expect to beat Athletico Madrid.

Newcastle in middle of a possible takeover, and if that done before new season it could get interesting. The guy trying to buy the club stated he will give them a £161m transfer kitty if he succeeds in aquiring them. Be lots of transfers going on at that time I bit.

And City - crashed to a 10th place finish in season 2 \o/, bit of a freefall after getting 3rd in first season followed by £153m of spending in the transfer market for season 2. haha. Loved seeing them plummeting down the league

Haha yeh City splurged and are now rocketing to mid-table, tis a joy. On mine it seems to be all Spurs atm.

For abit of Fun yesterday I decided to start a city game and see how good a team I could put together in the first transfer window.

It is interesting with City imho, they seem to spend _ALOT_ of cash. But never really bring in any quality at all? They buy loads and loads of squad players tho

Works well as you can poach some good players on the cheap this way .

2nd season with Spurs. i won my first season and well on my way winning the premiership 2nd time a row leading the table with 4 matches left.

I won the super cup, through to the semi finals in the Euro super cup, FA, League and Shield is lost... But haven't really paid attentien to those competions.

Khouma Babacar & Sergio Araujo are doing a great job for me at Leverkusen, stars of the future.

Contract negotiation is good, though still sometimes have issues with 15/16yr olds wanting 100k a week. lol
And some agents are noobs, wish you could speak to your player and say "your agent is interfering with our ability to offer you a contract acceptable to all parties"

Certainly alot better though then the old, offer contract, reject, next day offer contract, reject, etc etc

Some things are clever though. Like usually if you offer the agent more money, suddenly his client feels a lower wage is acceptable

You really should try out Football Manager Live if you play FM, well worth the £5 a month.

I've beaten FM I think, managing as Lille in 17/18 having won everything and dominating everything. Only thing left is too win France the WC..

Recently I started a game with Juventus to see if I could get them back winning the Seria A and competing in the Champions league again. Fuck me it was hard. I Signed a couple of youngsters in Kevin, Gotse and kadlec.
My starting eleven was Buffon. salyhamsandwich, chellini, bonecchi, grygera,
sissokho, melo, kevin, gotse (Delboy), krasic and kadlec.

Couldn't buy a win the fuckers. I found it a challenge maybe you might as well?

so far with eastliegh (cos i rox)

i have spend 450k on players in 5 years for that ive signed about 60 players in that time

ive sold them on for 5.3 million so far and got 3 back to back promotions


just signed another 7 players all on free tranfers all valuing about 400-800k
