First succesful relic raid on excal since NF came

the reason hib's getting picked on:

300 albs/mids log on and go "hrm how do we get to emain" and take boats. Fights over the hib coastal keeps which hibernia can't hope to control.

mid/alb get a coastal keep and 4 towers = porting is opened.

behn = new alb tk
crauchon = new mid tk.

hib keeps = new emain.

And until you either get an "odins tk" or a "hw tk" for the albs or mids then the albs and mids will get funneled to hibernia purely because it's so much easier to get to. If you're solo you don't wanna go into an entirely hostile frontier.

To be honest a good start to the hib defence would be to try and take one of the homeland keeps of alb/mid to cut off the porting though I'm not sure how they can spare the numbers (that said if they just concentrate on holding the power relic for defence they might have the numbers for that).

That said even with porting removed you've still got to retake those keeps (whilst keeping a hold of the homeland keeps of the enemy's) which with hibs numbers isn't going to happen very easily.

I think what hib needs is albion to take bledmeer whilst the hibs take the behn towers, that way the three mid keeps aren't portable and the one alb keep isn't portable so the portazerg will go to defend midgard/attack midgard.

Rather interesting that taking bledmeer will make it harder for albs to get the hib power relic (will also make it harder for mids though, and I'm not a fan on this ganging up on hibernia which has just happened out of emain-porting habit)

ps. grats for getting off your arse and doing something about a relic

though starting at 10am on a week day doesn't seem the fairest it's a heck of a lot nicer than 5am

Actually it does not say that. If it did then you would also have to display /played time in RvR last week as well. You are mixing up the numbers in your favour. I'm not saying we would surpass you, but the difference would be much less.

Most players in FoM have 2-3 accounts and multipl lvl 50 chars that they play RvR with. It's a know fact that FoM is not hardcore RvR, so why keep bitching about this over and over again.

We like to compare ourselves to guilds like SS not to FC - plz STFU and move on.

As for mids not attacking the albs, its soo not true FoM has been alot in albion grabbing towers etc and soon enough we'll go for some keeps. Albs are attacking alot of tower and keeps in mid aswell. Mainly Nottmoor and Fens towers.

Sadly, I dont think i can make most mids leave hib until we've gotten yer other relic or untill albs have taken it.

I said "hibs don't have the numbers for it" however if you just try and defend nged (you don't need as many defenders as attackers - it's easier to defend than attack plus the albs/mids tend to kill each other near nged anyway) and ignore the other keeps you might have the people spare to go take an alb/mid keep - 4fg could probably do it if they got lucky.


However your best hope is probably cowering in your keeps till albs take some mid keeps or vice versa really. Then you'd only have one enemy to fight (whilst they're on two fronts)

Course that's not exactly fun for hib so you could try taking some suggestions on board or debating their merits rationally rather than going "OMG FU!" like a spoiled kid.

I had been avoiding hibernia partly for the lag and partly because i don't like ganging up on the little guy (even if they were nuking me with power relics for the past two and a half years - bastards!), though I was porting to da behn last night due to being too lazy to organise a tower take (too much stress!) - however we still went and fought the mids rather than trying to help take nged.

Its like saying, hey he fooked me in the Arse, but i used vaseline before, hihi i pwn.

Will ill try my best to enjoy this game, many good peeps in hib, just seems too many simply accept thier position in the food chain. Perhaps if hibs someday decide to band together we can get something done.

Don't worry hibs, the past 2/3 days is just frustration of the old 'hib gank group in emain owned us again' coming out now We know it can't be fun for you hibs, so we started taking mid towers last night, to bad mids responded with 6 times our numbers... Soon we'll be taking mid keeps, need to release some of the frustration due to mids also soon.
