It is very possible that hib numbers have falled.

HOWEVER the current RvR active hibs have raised ALOT.
That may be simply due to the fresh release of NF, and may fall as time pass.

But i have never ever seen as many active hibs in RvR in my entire daoc presence as i do right now.

one of the problems with hibs is that is a very high PvE core in the realm.
And the RvR people not to thrilled with keep standoffs.

Thus roaming more or quit.

It's the new stuff that triggers it, all of a sudden there are rvr all over the place and all gain rp's if they are in the same zone. So imo it's just a matter of time til it cools down again and go back to more like the old days.

NF is making the majority very happy (Roleplayers), while the minority (Hardcore players) are unhappy. I imagine that eventually either the hardcore players quit the game or they find another way to fight in 1fg, I guess it’s a matter of time.

As for WoW, as far as I have been informed unfortunately no limit to Realm population has been imposed either, therefore imho the same will happen considering that a Class named Paladin exists and generally playing a Paladin gifs roleplayers a hard-on.

They left when they couldnt grapple anyone and with GP nerf inc they all rerolled on other servers

Just wondering, what will the hibs say today.

Last night (or tonight, depending on how you see it), hibs put up a fight. At the same time, albs hit mids and mids hit albs.

I know most of you think alb/mid is out to destroy the treehugging realm, but it's not like that.

It's like electricity...u know...taking the path with less resistance. When mids zerg albland, we get massive lag (200 albs on /stick) and some will LD and die etc. When albs zerg mid, they die...it takes a while since there are so many of them, but still...

Hibbies are the underdogs, emain is nicer than uppland and people are used to fighting in emain. It will change, but imo the hibbies should quit the whining and keep playing like they did today.

But believe me...there is no conspiracy between mids and albs...(atleast not a big one)...more and more mids want to hit albland, even with the ubazerg and lag there.
