think i was the only united fan that ruined this thread.

twat
won't hold that against you

twat
priceless

the united team that broke the run of many many years (26 actually - probably more years than you've been alive) without a title was made up of players that had gone through the youth and reserve ranks together. Gary neville, sharpe, butt, giggs etc had all been at united for years with the only big signing that year being cantona :worthy: and were expected to win fuck all. As alan hansen put it that year...."you don't win anything with kids"
how a team that was in the shaping for years before, is us "buying" the title i don't understand.
Now lets look at chelsea. a team thats been in the making for the past 5 years? nope
made up of kids that grew up playing football in the shadows of stamford bridge? hardly.
i've no complaints about chelsea as a team, and they have played far better football than anyone else this season. however, the millions spent forging that team, bringing in internationally recognised players and "buying" the title, is far from the same as the united team that grew together from the youth squad.
maybe its you that should read up on clubs history before shooting your mouth off

please don't post inaccurate bullshit and people wont have the need to correct you.

I think someone has a slight problem
Yes your the United fan whos a being a problem(Problem can be reprases as several other more Accurate words, i'm sure you've heard your friends say other 'naughty' words before), a self centred(or club centred), manchester is the centre of the Universe, who can't reply to a post with a structured agrument but instead resorts to insults due to not understanding what the other person he is replying to has said. (i like the fact that i'm a twat because i'm a tottenham fan, does your mother know you call people that? someone wouldn't be watching his team for a little while if she did!)

I guess you didn't not that not all your youth 'talent' went through your school, it was baught but theres no point me explaining this due to my above statement.

A Mate of mines an avid United supporter :) we have this talk loads, well its 3 v 2 :p i have a liverpool fan on my side.

u implied that utd bought the title, a la blackburn when they won the title. However, paying beckhams family 50k or so, so hed sign for united youth time hardly qualifies as "buying the title". Giggs, Sharpe, G Neville, P Neville, Scholes, Beckham, Brown, O shea have all come through the united youth system, a youth system that most teams would kill for. Keane had been at united since he signed from forrest. Shmiechal cost peanuts. COle had been bought a couple of years earlier, so their biggest outlay was 12 million for Yorke. Whoopy fuckin do. 12 million for a striker.

Get a clue please

Your posts or Marc's ^^

Anyway as i said its my POV and oppinion :p
Best thing you lost souls (aka Manchester United fans) can hope for is Alex Fergusion to be fired :) Some of his more resent signings didn't really turn out good for him

Alex Fergusion has done some of the best buys ever, also some of the worst buys ever.
Over the last few years hes blew alot of money tho-

Saha
Veron (at least he duped chelsea into buying him :p)
Kleberson
Ronaldo
Barthez
Blanc
Demba-Demba
Forlan
Only the future will see if Wayne rooney is added to this list :)

It would be funny to compaire Chelsea spending over the last 10 years to Manchester united..and also there income

I think the best buys are all at bolton for the money he spends and the talent he has its brilliant.

Best buy of the premiership for me is Denis Bergkamp 7.5mil and woth 5 times that.

If the team is bought, no matter for how small an amount it's still a bought title.

Everytime they name a player Marc and Nak says that it was a cheap buy, who cares if it was cheap or expensive? Still the player is bought.

Not saying that Manchester bought the title.

The difference is chelski are playing 8 players that are bought in and have 3-4 on the bench. The manks had 6 or 7 youth players and the rest tealent.

See, there's three kinds of people: dicks, pussies, and assholes. Pussies think everyone can get along, and dicks just want to fuck all the time without thinking it through. But then you got your assholes, Chuck. And all the assholes want us to shit all over everything! So, pussies may get mad at dicks once in a while, because pussies get fucked by dicks. But dicks also fuck assholes, Chuck. And if they didn't fuck the assholes, you know what you'd get? You'd get your dick and your pussy all covered in shit! - Drunkard In Bar, Team America
