I really fail to see the reason, as this is a forum where things like this can be discussed etc. Clicking the "whine-threads" is optional, no-one have ever forced you to reading these forums in the first place anyways. (i hope^^)

So far nothing can really be done about this except to pray and hope that all ML10 Sojourners have enough manners to not abuse this trick.
It's bad planning from mythic and they are the only ones that you should whine at.
However this will be fixed in the 1.70 (or was it 1.71) patch.

And i think it's a great shame that you have to whine so much about BC.
Most BC ppl are really nice guys, but some guilds have more assholes then other, and it's allways the amount of assholes that shows.
The nice guys doesn't do anything so you dont notice them.
For example, how many of you have noticed me ingame? very few right?
But i bet that if i would start scamming ppl you all would know who i am, right?

I talked to a GM about this after i did it my self...

There dosent stand anything about this is the CoC and its no abusage... its a perfect working code thats working as intended.

But probly not used the way they expected.
Just have to wait for 1.70 when it get fixed.

But it is up to a guild to decide which kind of message they want send to the "world" by keeping some sort of internal justice. Even if it is only a percentage of people from one guild doing this - it will always reflect
on the entire guild as well.

And as Lembit stated - even if things are "allowed" by the law, dosent mean it should take place.
There is something so called respect for other players and morals/ethics, which I see much lacking in such behavior as this. And we also see respect lacking in many of the replies.

I don't care about RPs or number of artifacts people want to brag about gaining or selling or what not, I have more important things to worry about - but I do care/worry that some people think it is okay to ruin the gameexperience of others, simply because "it isn't against the CoC".

THERE IS A WAY TO PREVENT THIS!!!
If you see that the encounter is up go and grab the cloak even if you cant finish it just yet. This will put the cloak on the Sphinxes and no Soj can port it out, then you just wait for it to reset itself and you pick it up and do encounter. If you are not ready when it resets just do it again. it takes 10 sec to cast gateway in that time you should be able to pick it up yourself.

It's better for the realm to deal with the guilty ones with giving them temp/perm bans then to start huge whine threads about the whole guild.

It's better for the realm to deal with the guilty ones with giving them temp/perm bans then to start huge whine threads about the whole guild.

Well - it was my understanding that this thread didn't start off as a complaint towards BC, but towards one person who happened to be in BC - but that was not really the issue which I adressed in my post.

Regardless of the fact that there might be nice people in the guild, then if there are many complaints about (singular) persons in a guild - it will always reflect on the guild as a whole.
It does so in real life situations as well, as it does in this game.

If a group of members of a guild behaves immature and disrespectful toward other players - it will always be associated with the guild as well. This is why it is up to guilds to decide which image they want to convey to the "public" and perform justice within their own ranks.

Well - it might be game, but that is no reason to act disrespectful towards other people. One have to remeber that just because you sit at home (or where people game from), then it is still real life people controling the other characters you just have just acted out towards.

There are rules in sports as well - both written and unwritten - and sports are in many instances also classifed as a game.

Imo BC has just been unlucky that so many of their mambers have turned out to be assholes.
Even if BC would dissolve there will come a new guild that will get whined at.
Just face it, it's in the human nature to whine about things, but lets keep it towards the ppl missbehaving.
I have never had any problems with anyone from BC, they have allways been frinedly towards me, and i have allways been nice towards them.
BC is a nice helpful guild and you're just jelous cuz your's aint.

What I want to achive with my posts? Well - if you read them, then you'd know what they were about. I've not mentioned stealing artifacts or what not - nor have I ever posted about that.

My posts were replies to people stating that the (bad) behaviour of people couldn't be used to reflect the behaviour or reputation of guilds.
But this is how it works but in-game and in the real world, with most kind of groups.
