Everybodies Oppinion on best and favourite group setup for each realm!

as the thread topic says basically my personal choice would b:


Albion :

Theurgist: pbt and nice air nukes and interupt pets
Friar: 2nd set of resists BG and spare heals - great dmg if need b aswell
Cleric: first set of resists and fop and great heals
Cleric: Warlord and backup heals
Paladin: Endurance for the assist train and bg if need be
Sorc: Good mezz good damage
Reaver: levi on running healers bards etc and guard twf bg or interupts
Merc: Charge tank duel wield can drop ppl nicely and interupts

Let me know what you think of my prefferred setup and please lets not turn this into a flame eachother thread i was just interested on what ppl thought of my idea and see what others wud prefer.. cheers :)

sure the setup is balanced, but it doesnt have killing power (not offensive enough imo)

and about theurgist pbt + air nukes at the same time ? :p

tbh remove the reaver and get another banelord merc, maybe remove pally and use the friar as bodyguarder (mercs can use end regen pots)

could also replace the theurgist with a cabalist :touch:

47 air rest earth = blue con pbt, theurg can also play a defensive mezzer aswell thats why i chose him, reaver can switch to defensive also where as merc cant, and pally is end for mercs and reaver, air theurg dus nice enuff dmg, sorc also does nice dmg, where as tanks jsut eat ppl alive anyway but thanx for ur input - whats ur ideal grp then ? :D

tbh id go for:
sorc - 40b, 36m
cabalist - 41 matter(red ns), 35body, 3spirit(pet recycle)
theurgist - 45 air, 21 ice, 21 earth (iirc)
cleric - 40 enh, 35 rej, 9 smite (perfector)
cleric - 40 enh, 35 rej, 9 smite (perfector - if 1 cleric is having trouble keepin on top of NS curing, if not warlord)
merc - slash
merc - slash
paladin(depends on whether u got a good friar :p) - 42 chants, 44 2h leet snare styleee and 2nd in side chain 9 sec stun), 39 slash, 24 shield(for guard)

i've never tried the cabby or pally specs, but thought they sounded nice ^^

no idea about alb

Hibernia: bard, warden, druid, druid, light eld, 3xdmg what guild has to offer
Midgard: shammy, healer, healer, zerk, zerk/savage ( depends who is online ), valkyrie ( that's me ) then choose 2 in the following sm / skald / healer /thane

I can live with quite many things as you can see, which is mainly because I like to play with guildies. But there's also the point that even if people say that for instance caster assist sux....if you have RR9 and RR11 casters in the guild, you use them =) Might not be everyones opinion, but I guess that's what the post is about =)

that group has plenty killing power, 2h pala and he stick with merc/reaver for end to assist train at all times, friar stay back to BG etc... well I do know a bit about it since that is our setup on Merlin and we realy never had that much problems with killing power and considering all camping hibs on bridges etc its very nice with a reaver :p

FC have had 1 weird but nice grp out that's been killing all mid grp's for the past day's, only time i seem em loose is when a mid grp adds.

hmm what was setup again.

pala(bg),friar(bg),merc,merc,cleric,cleric,sorc,caba i think it is

they have enough offensive power to kill a grp in seconds , and the bg's are ( very annoying ) good at bg, very fast to switch targets( but not fast enough for revolver;))

You are right about the setup.. and we managed to kill quite some last night. But we lost quite some too due to major mistakes :p

mid: healer healer healer shaman, zerk zerk rm bgsvg maybe, or same support and 2 zerks, rm, sm

hib: bard, warden, druid, druid, bainshee, bm, bm, champion

Why a mincer ppl might say .. well today with all the DualBG shit going on .. the mincer can actually permainterupt the BGed casters with just instas .. and still be apart of the assist train .. then he got the obvious things like demezz SoS et c etc.

Same as the one b4 though Arms instead of mincer .. for extra damage, extra BG though less CC/interupt.

Cleric Cleric Wizard Wizard Sorc Sorc Theurg Caba??!?!???! :p

Bah j/k .. old asylum setup :p . .hehehahah :p

aye we had some nice fight's against you , but we all learn from our misstakes:) so now we have atleast an idea of how to kill that setup :)

but was fun to see a GOOD alb grp out for once not often that happens, allthough it annoyed us as hell when you attacked when we were resting as when we never did the 2 times we could have killed you on same terms.

I prefer:

Bard - Sojo - Mezz + Songs
Druid(Nurture) - Perfecter - Heals + Buffs
Druid(Nature) - Convoker - Root + Heals
Warden - Battlemaster - Bodyguard + Semitank + Heal
Champion(Shield/LW) - Banelord - Interrupt/kill
Blademaster - Banelord - Kill
Enchanter(Mana) - Convoker - MoC bomb if stacked + Damage dealing
Eldritch(Light) - Convoker - Extra mezz + Nearsight + Damage dealing
