all you guys that are sitting there alone mining up your small cash pile and planning how to fund you rise to power, are missing out on how the game should be played...

Do it corp style. get BP's fast. and if you are going to mine do in in teams... 1 haulers 1-2 gaurds 2-3 miners on arkonite. Mining oomber in a probe is a bit like soloing greens with a 1 dps weapon. Whereas corp style, a good 2-3 hours mining stint can literally yield 30+ million isk.

You seem to be forgetting this is a game and people will play it the way they want to play it. I joined a corporation in the beta that I helped set up about 2 years ago when the first publications and previews were posted on the web. Unfortunately my beta invite came pretty late so the practical side had already pretty much fallen into its place. We were one of the first corporations to obtain certain BPs, there were always enough resources in stock for production the military was nearly always there to secure the mining sites and noobs got a an incentive in credits and equipment when they started out. Yet the corp allowed for freelancers aswell. All this didn't stop players from leaving because all of it felt too much like a job IRL ... busting your balls for a bigger body you are part of. Its a game play it the way you like ... I'm certainly not gonna fire up exell to chart the monthly productions to see wich department needs improvement and to see who is employee of the month ... you sound like you would.

Sure. But if you think joining a corp will make the game harder or less fun your wrong. I certainly dont plan to be ploting corp progress in excell or anything.

After playing eve for a couple of weeks now I think the real problem is the game is totally void of content. You have your goals to make more money and obtain better equipment but achieving this isnt actually fun.

Eve has some nice ideas and concepts but im not gonna be renewing my subscriptions. Frankly I'm just starting to find the game a bit boring and the gameplay is very slow and unrewarding.

Elite fans will luv it though I think, its just not for me i think.

EvE, great idea, poor application. Nice rendered gfx, incredibly buggy, and always will be.

I give it a C-

Wont last.
