I don't get it.

Why are warlocks so insanely hated? They have the ability to dish out insane amounts of damage in a short while, sure, but after that they're rather weak. And seriously, the way most people act around here it sounds like they hate the player for playing the class rather than hating the class itself. When that happens, people really need to take a step back and ask themselves why they're getting so worked up over someone playing a certain class in a game.

I'm not an emote spammer but I fully udnerstand why people get so annoyed by warlocks.

Okay so for 3 years you've been playing the game then mythic brings in a completely unbalanced class. Mythic are hated but then people decide to powerlevel one upto 50 and insta kill people.....are we supposed to respect them?

The point is, they're ruining your fun; it's not just the class, it's people who rolled the class. People say they're frontload only and die easily after that but it's very frustrating. So your FG attacks a warlock and the warlock insta kills your sorcerer. Your group now has no sorc or a res ill one and another set of 4-5 people jump you...mezz and you're in severe trouble. Insta mezz you can purge, insta stun you can purge...if you really want. Nearsight, purge or cure. Stun debuff nukers, you can heal. Insta gibbing you cannot stop and it's silly that a class should be able to attack a FG and kill at least one person everytime by simply spamming a spell release button on any random target.

If Spam = harrassment then what the heck is a PA or Crit Shot? Its a game of war between realms, although seeing some of the x-realmers yesterday morning at Berks T1 you would hardly believe it:touch:. Its a violent game that draws you in and sometimes emotions can run a little high.

To ban people for doing something Mythic put in the game for that exact purpose is pretty dum in my opinion.

To be honest I can understand continuous spamming (x20) as a problem but the rest is just part of the game. Get a life and get over it.

When will you realise its not about the function emotes have. Use an emote once, no problem. Same with the chatwindow etc etc.

I really dont see where the hell youre getting at with spamming PA or Critshotting someone, what part of spam being harrassment dont you understand?

Im not in favour of suspending someone for emoting, a warning at first should be fair, but to whine about this is just plain sad. Oh and its not about the emotesitself.. its how they are used.

TBH i know Horner, and with the INgame death threats he get s from the hibs, see ASq forum for starters, I think he has the right to spam them.

GOA should put the bloke responsible for searching out the spams to better use.

Goa needs to address the spam issue with common sense not a rocket launcher...
