My activity is 99% too
Am I a bad person?

My activity 46%, yours 99%. You might need a better argument than that.
I can understand where you are coming from, but what you said culd have been taken the wrong way(which it has)
You didnt mean to, just slipped ingently like Chodax asks me to every night
What people missed is that i never claimed texting while driving is ok
You said:Stop blam ing innocent mobile phones on incompetent people!
You said:it's not about texting and driving(it's about stupid people who can't drive)
You said:There are millions of people who talk, put on make-up and text while driving and don't get into accidents. It's the stupid people who do it while in attention required spots that cause problems.
It's not texting that kills, it's stupid/incompetent people.
Seriously Toht - everyone on this thread disagrees with you and have the experience of having a driving license to go with it, whereas you have an opinion that means jack shit when you're making very bold statements like 'its not texting - its the fact people texting do it in spots where you have to have a lot of attention.' WTF. Driving requires full attention all the time.
You are just digging a hole and making an idiot of yourself on a forum where a lot of people dislike you already (note: I'm not in that 'lot' - but it's the impression I get).
Jeez dude, you're beyond help.
Me think focus on texting stupid.
Get it? Good.
Yeah, just don't reply me anymore. Better off like that since you start the "lalala" act every time.
Same goes for anyone who can't keep civil and doesn't want to throw in some arguments, just don't bother.
FYI; i don't need to have a drivers lisence to have an opinion, just like the rest of you don't need to know X to comment on Y.

Why is an advert focusing on texting being a cause of crashes wrong? Of course shit drivers cause accidents but so does texting - the advert attempts to highlight the danger of texting which many people don't see in an attempt to reduce the number of accidents.
It's similar to saying, why focus on drink driving campaigns, only shit drivers crash.
Actually, most people stop because you bore us to death, not because you win an argument. You're the forum version of Swine Flu; nobody wants you and tries their best to avoid you but you just keep appearing nonetheless.
drinking and driving is a good idea if you pay attention when you need to pay attention.
on the phone at the same time is also cool, as long as you pay attention when you need to. while youre at it, have a little sleep when you dont need to pay attention.
all these arguments would be great if it was possible to know WHEN you need to pay attention.
sadly we arnt psychic and cannot see in to the future, so best pay attention all the time.
Fact is, good drivers don't have to pay attention on every second. Incompetent drivers crash.
Most drivers change CDs, check maps, find the waterbottle and a numerous other tasks that "avert the attention" and don't crash. Why? Because they know WHEN to do so.
They don't do it on a busy intersection, or in the middle of the city etc.
You might have had a drivers license for 40 years and never been in an accident.. But the moment you pull out your cell for the billionth time to send your 18y old au-pair a dirty text, might be the time you kill yourself, or even worse, someone else! Those two seconds when you're not paying attention to the road and thinking of something else might be the two seconds it takes transforming from competent to incompetent...
When you hear ppl talk about their accident they usually say: "He came out of nowhere"
Toht,
Your comments in this thread can only be said to be moronic beyond comprehension...
Really, don't start if you know jack-shit of the subject.
Exactly. The point is in the context of it being so over the top.
A "don't text and drive" commer is ok and good, this is over the top by a mile.
Hope that's clear.
What now? I never spoke anything about winning an argument, i told YOU to stop replying me if you can't keep the anti- speech, insults etc away and discuss things.
Should be clear enough.
So when you drive, you pay attention to the road non stop, no matter what, 10-2 hands and all that?
Everyone should drive model robot style, or not at all?
Didn't think so.
No, you're being contrary for the sake of it and the number of responses picking up on it shows that the majority of people don't care for your opinion in this matter.Doesn't mean that i'm saying what the commercial is about, it means that i think it's more about stupid drivers then texting that accidents occur.
