I don't think i'm a "good" driver, but i can drive. Stop making things up.
I am talking about the advert still, the message hasn't changed. You're saying the same thing, shit drivers are the problem. Could you, in your infinite wisdom, tell me what i'm arguing against?
They shouldn't concentrate on this kind of shock-tactic, but instead use the money on something sensible. Make the commercial fun, entertaining etc and you reach a lot more kids.
Hell, why not use the money spent on the advert to buy many MANY kids hands-free equipment to their new car.
^above^
To be honest from what i've heard, UK driving tests NEED to be harder and longer. I most likely could pass the UK test(driving wise) on a first go, yet might have some difficulty in say, Finnish test. I only WISH driving tests were about responsibility. Seems these days they are mostly about knowing not to hit a cone and knowing the alphabets.
It is about bad drivers in the sense that i've been saying, location, timing etc. Good drivers can multitask as they don't do it in stupid situations. If you check your mobile in a situation where the next two seconds cause you to crash, you're not a good driver.
The commercial idea is good, but it's the wrong way. Too long and too filled with shock value. Go against texting, but go against it in a sensible manner, not just "text and die!". Especially since young women are the easiest to get to, yet this commercial will make them turn it away, 'cause they are young women. So it's kind of counter productive.
About buying the equipment, sure it wouldn't make sense to buy it in all and a lione is somewhere, but the point was that using the money to buy SOME equipment would've made more impact then that over-long shockathon does.

& i honestly dont take kids seriously, young adults like you are so LoL. is that bleating i hear from your lips ?
give as many "stats" as you want - SHIT DRIVERS WILL ALWAYS BE SHIT DRIVERS. take away texting & be 100% sure they will find other ways to kill themselves or others, its just the way of the world

could you also state why the test needs to be harder and in what way making it longer will achieve anything. in what way could the test be harder?
The point is good driver or not if you check your text for two seconds and someone else is not paying attention you can be at fault for an accident and possible life ending incident.
In your own example above every possible distraction is ok and your a good driver as long as you don't crash when your distracted.
Shock tactics works trying denying it all you want, it gets the message across. Keep on pretending you know what a driver has to go through on a day to day basis and how you can tell who is a good driver or not.
As for you passing the uk test on your first go, with your eyes closed, while getting a blowjob and writing a book, go fuck yourself. The instructor would see you coming a mile off, they deal with your kind everyday and the get a big massive X next to the is this guy a penis box!
A problem here, some people do their test excellent, then when they get into the car alone they fuck it all up by doin other stuff. The less the tests pass, the less bad drivers there are and the less accidents there would be.

You might be the world best driver, but when you get hit by a texting idiot that ran a red light at 90 that wont help you everytime..
when you go over a certain speed, most people will never have time to react to whats happening.
Me and my dad was lucky 2 weeks ago.
