He asked me if I had downs, and I said no. Then he asks again after I've already said that I don't but my friend's son does. I got a bit pissed off, so then I answered yes. Big deal. Like he honestly doesn't know what it means? He was just trying to be funny/provoke. He knew my mate's son had downs as I'd already told him, but he persisted in asking.
He obviously knows what one is since he's posted "Then dont reply at all you utter fucking retarded mongol?" and "Man you close minded, single mod/scene racist cowboy mongoloid :/" in the past, so nice try to make me look like a bitch, but I was actually patience personified since he'd posted a massive vagina spewing light in a thread to piss me off, yet when he pm'ed to ask why I closed the thread I was still nice about it.

my two cents are as follows
it's slightly ironic he's been banned for posting porn, when there's actually a five page thread (which i have contributed to) with links to semi-naked women in. and i agree that if anyone else apart from the #quake2.uk lot had have posted it, i very much doubt they would have been banned. dime is funny, very funny sometimes but hey, if you don't like what he has to say there is the ignore function. what he's said/posted in no more offensive than anything most of us has said at one point or another, he's just ended up taking the brunt of it.
anyway, i don't really give a shit right now beause i've not been paying that much attention to this forum of late, i've found pastures new

Dime seemed to be on a one-man mission to get himself banned of late. Whether its 'accepted' or not the admins can't allow obviously risque pictures. The 'birds' thread is of a FHM, Loaded, page three type-area. While I'm (1) Not a social retard (2) Find a great many things funny. Also consider that Gombur got banned for being a good bit less offensive.
Also the damini thing, a few things to consider
1)
was the reply to the bizarre 'vagina cannon' picture. Which, to me at least, is a mildly amused but dissaproving vibe.
2) Her response to the 'birds' thread was to post women, Which shows thats she's not a prude.
3) The log of the irc chat gives me the impression that dam was being sarcastic and gave the impression that she didn't 'appreciate what dime was saying. and dime was pretending that he didn't understand the sarcasm to be slightly offensive(to comic effect).
So I'm sure dime is a nice guy but he does seem to have a sense of humour that, for some, is hard to take. Personally I 'don't get' dimes or cages sense of humour but gloss over their posts.
Also I'm sure he'll be back and I'm sure he'll be no different(would you want it any other way) and I'm sure cage will continue to live upto his previous nick(cagecunt)

Dimebag is far more original and witty than 99% of the people on this forum. The reason why he gets banned is the inability of the social retards to come up with a suitably witty/cutting response. Hence they use their brownnosing/cocksucking ability to go

i'm probably far too relaxed when it comes to censorship, personally i feel nothing should be censored.
what bugs me about this case is that all of a sudden, we've got immense censorship when once upon a time we could roam wildly. general's got a bit shite as of late too, which is a pity.

There is nothing immediate about this, Dimeh was banned around Christmas time for a similar offence - first from irc due to racism (the kind of thing he regular comes out with in my experience, perhaps someone dropped him on his head as a child) then from here when he posted an OTT picture. He was eventually unbanned yet it seems he is incapable of learning his lesson which is why someone else banned him from here, although I would have done the same myself and the only reason he was mistakenly given a warning was because the person who deleted the picture didn't know Dimeh had already been banned before as he was on holiday at the time.
If you think times have changed on this forum it isn't because of any censorship on our parts, I've banned a sum total of 3, maybe 4 people who I would call regular posters (so that doesn't include the likes of advertising spammers) in the time I've had the ability to do so which is getting on for over 2 years, if not longer perhaps. Indeed if anything I think the argument could be that we should have banned more people to cut out the small number of people who seem incapable of using their common sense and decide to take things a step too far.
