At least the focus looks half decent...

I liked the old Renault Megane, before it became gay...if that means anything.

And VW Golf's are legendary cars, almost as much as Honda Civics.

Had a test drive in a Civic Type-R at the weekend. Utter barnstormer of a car.

Highly recommended.

PS. Don't get a Fiesta :( Or a Fiat, for Christs sake.

heh why exactly do people not like the Fiestas?

I am still thinking of gettin that Ford Ka, it looks nice and believe it is a nice car... altho the Fiesta is rated higher

PS - I dont really wanna spend more than £3,000 at the moment and them VW's seen to cost £5,000+...

Get something a bit special.

Seriously though, why a Ka? Why a Ford? Why a Peugeot, Fiat or any other car of that ilk?

Look around, fella and spend your £3K on something you'll enjoy driving. Why buy a family car?

Well, im more of a fan of Hatchbacks than i am of Cars, dont think i could handle a bit type of car like so just yet, for Reversing and things like that.

Well... why a Fiesta... I took my Test as i say in the Fiesta and i found it to be a very smooth runner, i didnt notice any hic-cups while driving it, plus i think the newer body ones look nice.

Plus id like a car of my Generation so to speak, as in Late 90's...

I will have a look around, but i dont really know what to look for in a Car: Good Body, Good Condition, Modern, Sporty looking, Dark Coloured, lots of buttons to press, etc etc... dont know what else to look for :p

just get the damn car SG, don't listen to us bitches :)
after some time spent motoring about you'll have established enough working knowhow of the car to either tell us to get stuffed, or that we were right :) besides, I don't have a car anymore atm...so I'm a bit green :p

Ladies and Gentlefolk, we have a future Kia Mentor driver in the making.

I think you should buy a Triumph Stag. Hopefully you'll wrap it round a tree and die.

It's insanely expensive though Bodhi (like all Golfs really).

Fair enough you pay a premium anyway for Golfs, but its like £25k new or something. That's well in the region of a number of nicer cars.
