I'm not sure if its worth 21m tho. I'll give you £19m and not a penny more.

With the way petrol prices are going, I'd advise buying a moped, or perhaps one of those electric cars that have a max speed of 12 mph, or something.

Super UL in my area is 84.3p at the moment :wall:

I heard a rumour that you can run diesal cars on crisp'n'dry. Or if you prefer proper cars you can run petrol engines on ground-up children.

Clarkson on Top Gear showed how you process second hand cooking oil, from a restaurant in his example, to run in a car. He filled up a Volvo and it ran just fine, for a diesel.

79.9 for a litre of Optimax here. I was unsure at first whether it was worth running the Golf on it, but I used Super Unleaded on the continent (as it was still piss cheap compared to the UK) and it managed to cruise quite comfortably at 110-115 through Luxembourg (still don't know the motorway speed limit in that country) and managed stints at 120 through France, with 3 people plus a fortnight's luggage and 2 snowboards. Not bad for a 5 grand car.

heh ive created something like a "Shortlist" of Cars which i will decide on the next few weeks or so...

Ford Fiesta Finesse
Ford Fiesta Ghia
Ford Fiesta LX
Ford Fiesta Zetec
Ford Ka (Altho.. i believe there is a few problems with this Car)

Fair to say ive taken the Ford/Fiesta Route but still...

Ive read reviews on the Finesse and i believe thats probably gonna be the car i choose maybe, also all Cars listed above are 1.3 or 1.25 Engines, so am i right in thinking the Insurance will be almost the same as what im already on?

Don't like Fiestas. If you can stand the rattles and squeaks that all Pug's make then I'd heartily recommend a 206 as they're v nice to drive.

heh the P206 doesnt seem to be admired by many people on review sites....

Handling is scary.

Can occasionally go fast if you can get it started.

It should be renamed the Peugeot Dog.

You can see the headlights through the wings.

I keep having annoying teenagers wearing baseball caps coming up to admire it. They think I'm joking when I ask them to steal it.

It really does not like going up hills and makes a most strange noise, reminiscent of a 2CV.

The leather chairs are really nasty, they look and feel like bin bags and kill your back over long distances.

I am going to sell it to see whether I can salvage anything financially, Anyone want it?

Made me laugh heh

My old 206 XS loves hills. It feels fairly solid apart from the rattles and squeaks. Turn the stereo up !

Handling is scary ??? He must be a puff then :)

Would be a good shortlist if Fords weren't terminally shit. I mean they even managed to fuck up the Focus RS.

Other cars you should look at which arent shit:-

VW Lupo/Polo/Golf (1.4's are easily insured by the under 21's)
Fiat Punto

I have suddenly realised that I don't actually give a shit about mainstream cars/anything that isn't in evo. So buy a Ford. You probably deserve it.
