Hmm... i too will be after a car probably, 19th Birthday and all coming up..

I currently have a Vauxhall Astra, nice Cheap car, but i want something new now, ive had it almost 2years now but i want something newer..

I took my Driving Lessons/Test with the instructor in a Ford Fiesta... i found that car to be amazing, quiet and i wouldnt mind getting one... But would anyone recommend any other cars or something, which are big on the inside and small on the outside? (ie 3door type car)...

and yes of course, cheap in all senses, insurance/cost etc.. altho i have been driving for a year without an accident, isnt it 2years before we become "not so high risk"... etc

Is it the twin turbo model or the single twin entry turbo model? I think after '93 they went twin turbo, I will stick with me(now)250bhp GT4 I think, did want a GTO but that has worn off.

Will get a motorbike if I can talk Lester into getting one as well.

Thinking about a GTO, well a 3000 to be exact myself. Not easy finding a late UK model though.

Get the bike too, but be careful :) muchos muchos fast!
Throddy will do you a deal I'm sure. (sends invoice for commision payment).

I have this irrational fear that:

a: People will laugh at me.
b: I will fall off.
c: I can't afford it.
d: My wife will kill me.
e: my weak wrists won't be able to operate the throttle.
f: I will be squished by a truck.
g: People will laugh at me.

Oh wait, those aren't irrational. :(

It's a more practical car.

A GTR is in the realms of Ferraris and Porsches when it comes to servicing costs, etc.

Sounds like you want a Pug 306. Insurance shouldn't be too bad, but they're pretty big cars inside for the size of the car... however it's a pug so you're gonna have dodgy pedals :/

If you buy it from a lame dealer like Arnol Clark they will insure you on anything up to a group 10 for 640 quid.

They had that deal when I bought by car.

Although i wouldn't ever recommend buying a car from Arnold Clark.

Lester look at this bike. Its a Ducati 996. It could be yours. Think of the northern people you could impress with this.

Get a Fiat Cinquecento Sporting (piss cheap insurance) and stick the 120bhp turbo conversion from Van Aiken in it. Just don't tell the insurance company (or expect to make it round many corners).
