Deciding on a Car

Right i need some advice. In the next month or two we are buying a car. Now the problem is im thinking of getting one of these so called super mini's, But haven't got a clue, at the mment im thinking that i should advise my mum to buy one of these New VW Polo's, so that she can drive it and so can i. any ideas?

Seat Ibiza?

The new ones aren't exactly powerful, they are nippy tho and they are cheap have VW build quality and cheap insurance, reliable. I looked at the Polos when I was getting my car last year, the interior is almost identical to the ibiza and the exterior I didn't really like.
