Actress Dame Maggie Smith dies at 89

She won two Oscars and starred in the Harry Potter films and Downton Abbey.

Never seen a film she has been in, as I discovered today.

I should add, never seen one start to finish, as in actually watched one.

Generational thing - could be one of those actors that die but haven't been in a film for 30 years and nobody below the age of 60 cares.

Yep.

What's annoying is that even I now think of her in Harry Potter rather than her earlier stuff.
