Ok, as for this video. The kids here were obviously trying to make a statement "Skateboarding is not a crime" But they went about it in a retarded way... Don't run from the police, leaving your friends behind ^^. And DON'T under any circumstance, try to physically stop a policeofficer making an arrest. This guy could have done way worse things to the kid who tried to stop him arresting the girl (Here i will interject that choking a teenage girl might be alittle over the top, but ok) I don't feel like he really abused his power in this. You can argue him being a twat, but all in all, the kids probably brought it on themselfs.

Again this is for the UK, as far as i was aware pretty much all the Acts set in PACE can be by-passed if it is not conivient to do it at the time of the arrest (though it should be done as soon as possible).

Um they gave him time cause a guy with a knife is alot harder to disarm perhaps?

With a knife the man actually cause harm if he attacks someone, which he did. If they had shot him directly they would've done the same as the cop did in the clip, jump directly to 'plan B', but still not as bad when taking into account what the persons where doing (carrying knife in public vs. skateboarding).

And again when it comes to a kid 'armed' with a skateboard you shouldn't even fucking think about taking it by force.
