The only reason i ask is that i didn't actually realise it's a place of work. If i'd of took notice i wouldn't have had a ciggy.

As long as you didn't stub it out on the seat and as long as - which I doubt from one cig - it doesn't smell like an ashtray I'm guessing you'll be fine. The car will be valleted as a matter of course anyway, and any cig smell can most likely be explained by you BEING a smoker in the first place and having the car for a month - the smell tends to rub off on other things you come into contact with.

it's your car until they fix your actual car, the no smoking policy on them is purely cos it makes the car smell/could cause damage, it's nothing to do with health like the no smoking in work/public places


they can't take you to court over it, also i don't think it's "illegal" jsut against the rules

Picked my car up from BMW today - it had a small service. Its come back in almost showroom condition. Everything's been cleaned & valeted (wonder how long that will last ). One of the seats had a stain on it - all gone. Wasn't expecting that, but then again you don't get anything for nothing these days. Must have paid for it somewhere. Wasn't itemised on the bill tho.
