could not complete connection

I have the latest 1107 patch, and I get the above the above message when connecting to any of the servers, dmc, tf 1.5, though I haven't got the latest cs patch.

Any ideas?

If your only trying to play either tfc, hldm, or dmc you should have no problems connecting with the 107 patch. Halflife can sometimes play up though, in such a case i just delete the lot, then do a complete install again. Over the years iv'e seen it all, my connection has been lagging, gfx all messed up, sound locks. In everycase these probs have been sorted just by the reinstall, make sure you whip the lot though, don't just reinstall, do a complete install from a fresh.

It also says at the begining

I understand you mean just uninstall half life etc and install again.

Hope thats right.

woooooohhoooo! We have lift off

Managed to get into one of the barry servers even though there was nobody in there.

Most of the severs needed new maps, which couldn't be downloaded because my dll was incompatable or something.

Any1 know where to downloads maps?

I take it you have the retail version of CS?

You will need to get the latest patch 1.1.0.2 (oh its about 17.5 meg me thinks) from teh bw ftp, if u havent got it.

then you will need the mappack from nextwish (18meg)
and the weapons anmes txt file (miniscule)
