We spent every Easter in N Wales staying in a converted chapel that belonged to a friend of my dads from when I was about 4 to probably 8 or even 9- I have possibly walked ever mountain in the area at a very young age - my dads favorites were Roman steps from Cwm Bychan and Moel Hebog (they were done each visit). I also did Snowden at 6 with one of my brothers 11 and my dad - we were gone so long mum sent out a search party - we were fine - there was snow up to my waist and I had little legs...

I do not have horrible memories of Snowden but I do of Moel Hebog - my sister was 2 the first time and she sat in a chair on my dads back - this meant I had to walk which was not the issue - the problem was all of the stone walls ...

I cried apparently for 90% of the day.

This one? Although that doesn't take in Hebog. This one? (totally different area, but has roman steps. Not hugely elevatory there though)

Did you stop in Beddgelert?
The doggy grave :) been there and all over snowdonia. Not up the mountains apart from sonwdon tho. And that was by Train.

We did not do them on the same day but every time we stayed in the Chapel they were day walks with picnic - Roman steps as a kid was my favorite as there was furry catapillars and water - we were a big family (5 kids ranging from 14 to 2 years old....) and Moel Hebog was exhausting for my parents (remember my dad had a todler on his back pulling his ears generally to indicate the direction that my sister wanted him to go in..)

As for where we stopped I do not remember I was little... I remember castles (Caernarfon most of all), the Chapel was near Pwllheli and if we were good we would be given Cadwalladers ice cream in Porthmadog huzzah

Second weekend after we moved in :)

Hadn't been around the Orme since my grandad was alive. Think I was about 7 or 8. Nice views :)

Despite the researcher's best attempts to mimic the Keystone Cops it looks like the Oxford Jab has had a full bill of health as well:

Except its only now got 70% efficacy, all very reassuring isnt it.

It was posted today , Lancet online.
Where do you get your news from..a fucking wormhole.
Its not just what we know about the wrong dose.

They are debating wether its worth producing, which is pretty embarrassing and what happens if the Pzifer vaccine turns out to be 70% at the end of all the real world studies...as in us....
That would be fun.

But it's been reported on for a month now.

60% effective was the WHO cut off for acceptable vaccine btw. So still beating it even if we don't half-dose.

It's a bike ride away. :)

A mere 3.5 k on the other side of the A5 you can go up to Cwm Idwal

Took this earlier this year:
I don't understand, where is the road? ;)

Bit jealous of the views you have tbh. Wirral is ok, close enough to take in Delamere or some of North Wales. Take the CycloX down to the forest and do a few trails then ride home caked in mud 😊

Ultimately it is likely to be one of the most important covid vaccines simply because of its lower costs and easier transportation and storage requirements.

Where on the Wirral m8? I grew up in Upton.

Thurstaston is yer only real place for "local" MTB. But you've got that wonderful waterfront surrounding the whole penninsula. :)

Bit early for xmas. Looks like they're not explaining that it'll be 10 days after his second vaccination he'll develop immunity.

That's really important - he could pick it up at xmas and kark it :(

I think Scouse is suggesting that whoever vaccinated him didn't explain as the bloke didn't seem to realise what was being said. However the bloke is 91 so it could well have been explained but the fella is none the wiser.

She didn't have a reaction to it, she was given a placebo.

That won't stop dopes like @Job putting 2 and 2 together and getting 2.

Nope both were given the proper vaccine - unless we're rolling out placebos to the NHS?

Still not anything to be too concerned about, as it happens with the flu jab every year.

Click Scouses link again, it literally states;
The feet belong to Patricia - a woman in her 30s living in Texas. And it's true - she was a participant in a trial for the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine that started to be administered on Tuesday.
But this is also true: Patricia never received the actual vaccine. Medical records show that she received a placebo, a small injection of salt water. (Researchers do this as a matter of routine, to compare groups that receive a drug or a vaccine with those who receive the placebo.)
