No the snowflakes comply.

I fully support peaceful protest against creeping normalisation of government micro management of our lives.

There's a good minority of people that don't believe in covid...

I'm finding that the vast majority of this minority are the older entitled type, rather than students.

Sure, if you're going to police it, when there's local lockdowns, the Police should patrol the people who have been openly against Covid and make sure they stay in their house.

Or we can just not heavily police one section of society whilst 'trusting' the rest.

The Government is taking their gloves off when it comes to students because no-one really cares about them, they won't call discrimination if they get picked on, oh and 'they're all lefties.'

Imagine if you had the Police camping outside your doorstep when you're in a local lockdown, would you be happy about that? Or more imalrightjackisms
I didnt mean to insinuate that the minority were only in one group or another. They are spattered across all demographics from what i see.

This app and it applies worldwide where they are being used has just elevated the smartphone and latest update/hardware from a handy technology to a social must have.

It has now entered the realm of required equipment, not legally by the government, but certainly many establishments are taking it upon themselves to decide their own take on the advice.
How long before you have to put your vaccination code into it and if you havent the QR code scan denies entry.
That the very obvious next step and they will take it.

Fucking scan codes in public places.
Its just horrific and 11m people have downloaded it.

Just had a look in the playstore..no official app obviously, my phone is too old.
Nice load of sneaky track trace boloks though.
Seriously...how many unsavvy people with older phones would end up with some shite on their phone.
Sorry not official shite.Screenshot_2020-09-28-13-58-10-1.png

You realise that half of those are for delivery services...right? They aren't tracking you, they are tracking parcels and services.

We should implement Sharia Law, that'll stop covid.
You saying i am an extreme muslim?
whats wrong with demanding people act responsibly?

i dont think i have ever advocated stoning people as punishment

No, but you can't do alcohol + sudden shutting down time = everyone's going to behave responsibility, they're obviously not.

That's why I said sharia law though, because there'll be no alcohol.

I'd imagine ISIS are pretty good at implementing lockdowns.

Just a reminder it took 60 odd years to repeal emergency reduced drinking hours from the war.
It was still in place in the late 80s.

I remember when the pubs shut at lunch time and closed at 10.30

All these new laws are being pushed under the 1984 health act.
Say no more.

Job in 'stuck in the past' shocker.

Pub license times change all the time these days for all sorts of reasons, both permanently and temporarily.

Link to this? (Hopefully one with a bit of context).

Sounds like the correct statutory instrument to protect health during a pandemic, no?

Say no more.
I kind of wish you would - because it's not at all clear what you're trying to say.

The emergency measures have been implemented with review time limits. So they're not just "on the books forever".

As for the rest of "say no more". The conservative government *you* wanted and voted for is using laws brought in by Thatcher.

Surely you're wanking yourself silly??

The wife and I have been eating/drinking out 3 or 4 times a week since everything opened in July, and the places we've been to seem like the single safest places to go to avoid infection. Turfing people out of there at 10pm to go have a street or house party just seems like absolute bollocks. It's absolutely killing some local businesses round here, after they bust their balls to open up again.
