on another note amoungst this bitching going on i got question for hibs.
How many were actually in str relic keep.
i think i saw.
2 outside (may been lag)
5 on second tower door.
3 on way up tower
8-10 in relic room.
some them may be duplicates thou so just wondering

so we give it to the realm that havnt attacked us

We were around 3fg but a few of those left with the spear so 20 is not far off.

iirc, you 'defended' 6 relics when the average level in mid was 10 more than that in the other 2 realms. we took all 6 relics and defended them for a weekend in october fyi

To sum it all up, mids got greedy, bragged about it, then got spanked by Hibs.

We TRIED to leave you one and what do we get?
Btw there was an ML2 + ML8 raid going on while you had you're RR, the ML2 one didnt stop and neither did the ML8 so you had the advantage anyway of having a good 4fgs+ away from dagda ^.^
Of course those people wanted to RR after doing crappy ToA chores so it sucked to be you.
The inconnu got to the relic because the hib force was too busy laughing their asses off at this tiny purple guy sprinting in, yeh there was a cry of dont hit him and emoting which normally happens to solo people/grey cons faced with a large force, i'm sure you do it to us as well. One of those 'spur of the moment things'
There was talk of taking the STR relics and resetting them for a while now as every RR scare brings LOADS of hibs to the frontier, normally end up charging emain then getting counter-zerged within an hour.

and the 'night time raid' crap must stop, we know how pathetic it is too, which is why we dont plan one, this was just a typical unplanned hib zerg which we get once in a blue moon, if this was regular god help you all

This is exactly what was predicted on the meeting. We go, we kick the sleeping dog awake by taking another relic, we congratulate ourself, we loose em all.
Whee.
Granted, the game is certainly in part about keeping and defending them, but to be honest, I don't particularly care about it. Now I'm left with 20% less damage in the middle of levelling a bunch of artifacts, while if we hadn't bothered to get more artifacts, might have enjoyed that damage output bonus for a few weeks more.
Oh, well. :/

Mids have no one to blame for this but themselves. Hibs were doing what they liked in mid frontier for some hours with what wasn't really a huge force.
Only after nada response from mids did it turn into a rr, and only after power relic got back so easy did hibs decided to take the piss and rub mids nose in it destroying all doors on str keep, dropping off relic to albs, etc.
Was no co-operation and all was completely unplanned. Middie /crow thread prolly didn't help their cause either
Mids always had a reputation for quick response and guarding their keeps and relics very jealously. I said on /bc during keep takes that after the hibs had two keeps down there mids would be out in force, and boy was I wrong. Was the worst relic defence I've ever seen with so much warning.

i left before it got to the str relic but there was 33 of us on power relic and i think 1 more fg turned up half way through. i remember thinking fook when i got guard spam from avark (sp?) saying 38 mids were behind us.

Are you that dumb or can't read? Read the other fucking posts.. hibs took your keeps before you even took power relic, but you didn't give a shit so they raided the RK.. So imo, the relic raid had started already before you even took hib power relic.

Night raids are usually frowned upon because the organising realm can get extra numbers than are normally on at the time.
Last night we didn't we just had the usual people, there were a few (And I mean few) people like me who stopped on an extra hour or so.
Even so, the figures show that Mid numbers matched Hib in the Mid frontiers, and we still took the Power Relic, and went on to demolish the Strength RK (after even more Hibbies had logged, myself included...), It's a pity that one of the best RRs I have seen against Hibbies was spoilt by the fact that a large part of the Mid population seemed to think the server would crash to protect them
Not that I will complain too much since we benefitted quite nicely

It doesn't matter if a rr happens at 3pm, 10pm or 4am, realms will have the same population repartition anyway, unless of course this is one of them raids (alarm raids) where the goal is to artifically get more people than you would normally have, which wasn't the case at all here.
And in case you don't know, mids have 37% of the pop, not exactly that far from 40% now is it ?
Stop complaining about late night raids as if they were alarm clock raids, it's two different beasts. You were in your bed ? Tough luck. I wasn't online when mids got our two last str relics either a month ago, so ?
I find it especially silly to complain about late night raids when it started hours before. Should people suddenly stop playing the game right when you go to bed ?
