Bah, the cricket was great. Despite not having Jones the bowling attack was still good.

You bounce on about the bowlers you were missing, but where was the good scores from the batsmen? They never looked that threatening despite fighting hard in the last test.

And I'll happily wave my "Harmison is the best bowler in the world right now" flag at you

I cant stand the people comparing the England v France game against the Man U v Bayen Munich in the champ. league when Man U took the treble.

The point is BM shat all over Man U then the cheeky young faced 30 year old, old Ole came on and won it, instead of the big falling over machine giving away a free kick and Gerard making a terrible pass.

A late winner to take Sweden through at England's expense, and a superb one too. Brolin played a succession of one-twos with Klas Ingesson and Martin Dahlin before lifting the ball over England goalkeeper Chris Woods. Even the BBC commentator was thrilled by the goal.

I have to admit though, this whole patriotic fervour that is sweeping England at the moment is kinda amusing. "The Corporation" had a Dress Down day featuring a Red and White theme which basically meant everyone had to wear either a red or white item of clothing to show their support for the glorious England side! Even the office goth was wearing a red shirt!! :-o

Republic of Ireland beat Scotland 2-0
Austria beat scotland 2-0 :kissit:
Scotland drew with New Zealand (wtf) 1-1
Wales(lolololol) beat Scotland, sorry, TWATTED the skirt wearers 4-0

And in between all them scotland managed to lose to denmark (twice) and romania. In fact, the only game the skirt wearers have won in the past 2 years was against canada (cant count the win against Trinidad & tobago cos sunday league teams could beat them).
