I fail to see how the English team is arrogant... they went out with confidence, not arrogance. The fact that we were winning for 90 minutes against probably the second best team in the world proves that we're a little better than average.

To be honest every tournament england are Hyped to an insane degree , and everytime there being hyped to win and some years there not good enough.This game tho it should have been a draw , first half was just about even with england geting a nice bit of fortune at the end and well 2nd half mmmm france just played better football , nice control in the centre of the park, was dissapointed with henry and Trez hope henry picks up his game for the next few matches is always great to watch.

At times Owen and Roony just werent linking at all, both amazing talents in thier own right but i am not convinced they should be played together, maybe if scholes was given a more attacking role, sitting just behind the strikers.

Agree. I still think Shearer could do a job for England. Owen looked ordinary last night but he just didnt get the service so you cant really blame him. Rooney was awesome and I cant understand why he was taken off. However, I still think Rooney and Owen will "gel" but, if they dont, who do you drop and who do you play alongside them? Certainly not that Heskey. Only thing he's good at is falling over and we can't play with just 1 up front, it doesnt work at this level.

Yep. Everything seems to be blown out of proportion if it happens to be done by an England supporter. Like the Greek fans celebrating their win in the streets of Portugal - waving flags at cars driving past etc. I could just see it now if England had won, "Poorly behaved England fans provoking trouble in Portugal. FIFA call for ban.". Yeah.
