Ahh, how refreshing! :) Good to hear that not all Mids like to whine (even though I admit your camping of the Alb keeps were different than our current one with a CS). I even think I got you in my sights once or twice during the day, Ardamel, probably got off a few DoTs too. ;) (That's not to say I didn't get DDed or AoEd while peeking out through the battlements -- I did!)

Aye those DoTs kept coming and I'm pretty sure some of them was yours :) With capped resists and shammie resists DoTs rarely kill me but they sure as hell are very annoying :)

Re: Pet LoS whining.

It gets fixed next patch - Necros get esepicially screwed by requiring 3-way LoS (Pet-Target; Player-Pet; Player-Target). All other pet classes merely require Pet-Target. I have no idea why necros get singled out.

So give it a rest - nobody cares about LoS whines any more.

Re: Nottmoor today

Grats everyone. Logged on about 3 times so far - each time into a continued pitch battle at Nottmoor.

Crappy for RPs since everyone is rez sick the whole time - but lots of fun.

Well if Albs get a relic least we can have a cs over there :)

i dont think today was about the RP, it started out i wanted to farm from a keep as my wizzy is defenive spec, and it was going great, then it wasnt the RP that kept me going but the fun, seeing the midguard army set out with Trebs, loads a trollos and stuff. i got a cool screeny it looked uber /salute midguard for that one. and Albions for the cat and mouse games the war waging back and forth was great to see realy was. only thing that spoils it is the whiners.... i got hammered several times and did my fair share with GTAE and AOE snare /PBAE all in all was great day for large scale rvr.. and who said zergs cant be fun if plaied properly.

/Salute both realms Midguard and Albion

when the mids had two treb batterys with 3 in each raining stony death on us it looked very cool :), impressive offense there

imo this whole argument/whine has arisen because of the CS, it's a new feature we haven't really had to deal with before, and we're really used to fast keep takes. Most mids are just frustrated that even though we put some Albs down, they come right back at us and we don't seem to be getting anywhere. I imagine the hibs at Crim felt the same. Not to take anything away from the absolute pharmage the albs are creating, enjoy the RPs :)
But hey, don't want to ruin the flame session you got going here! In the words of the Human Flame (remember him?) 'Flame on!'

We may be getting owned in jamtland but at least we give a fuck about our frontier and tried to do something about it. But some mids have been fighting since 9am so if they cba to fight nomore i dont blame them.

Dont worry albs, you can take as many keeps as you want, we'll be taking em back in the early hours and you wont have a cs tomorrow.

yeah let us take all the keeps we want, including mjolinor, then we definitly won't have a cs in the morning (at least not in mid)

ye take our keeps m8, you already got a cs in our front so theres no reason for us to defend keeps anymore and get owned by cs, cause we got hardly any guards at our relic keeps anyway. Its the price you pay for having 5 relics but at least we got some.

hello? what other options do we have with 200 albs using a cs ffs.
Keeps would have been taken back straight away as we always do if it werent for cs.

btw we have lvl 1 rogues running around uppland and mjoll. lol and albs are the ones always complaining about spies..
look at your own realm first.

truly an intersting day of RvR.

Many fun moments, but also many tedious.
I can't wait untill pet LOS get fixed for one thing :)

But looks like it isn't over yet, just worrying about how many relics we will have lost over the night.

One thing strikes me as funny though - Albs can gather some 80 people at Mjollnier for a relic raid in the morning - but they can gather 120+ for a keep zerg short time after?

Anyways .... fun RvR, tremendous battles, just wish I had taken more screens, but not time for all that :) - but I wonder what the hibbies have been up to most of the day with allmost all of the usual "Emain Krew" in Jamtland :)

who say's they're alb spies eh? Might be hibs, we all know they've used them before.

And besides, I catch a spy, from any of the 3 realms, it gets sent to RightNow. I can't reitterate how much I hate spies.

And as for the CS thing.. do what you were doing earlier, but for some reason stopped.. BUILD TREBS!

Get a shadowblade to go in there, GT the CS, then have the seige builder ground target assist and fire away, you'll nail almost all the rezzers and the summoner himself.

But oh wait, that requires thought and logic, hope I'm not banned from BW now..

-edit-: oh and wtf are you talking about 200 albs?

A guard from your keep is killed, 197 enemies in the area!

is what was heard from a BF (owners of the keep).

/who jamt showed 119 Albs. A few more anon.

You outnumbered us almost 2:1

From the first set of pults (at around mid day GMT.)

We died too fast with the 2nd batterys, was a laugh with those... :)

I got a few choice hits, that being the funnys spam one, and don't have any screenies of the 6-8 500 dmg hits :).

I hope noone whines because boths side gains on it in rp, dont know who got most but I think albs have got some more.

To bad its so laggy or esle all have been swell

<Sigh> I'm so misunderstood.. This thread was started as a /cheer to both realms, and ended up in a flame war :( Oh well, gonna go back to roaming round blendrake/notts and killing now :)

I had alot of fun today atleast, logged on and had missed the RR since i overslept, went to odin since i heard there was a new attempt to make a CS in nottmoor. Got there just when they charged the lord. Then some waiting and upgrading before the mids came with the zerg. Really nice battles where mids broke through both doors before they got stopped by endless spam of AE and nukes at doors. Then after a couple hours or so fighting we managed to break out of the keep and kill all the mids out there. And that followed by 10 hours of endless fighting between the realms \o/ Such epic battles is what one wants in Daoc even if once a week/month or so is enough. :p

But this had not been so eazy for u if u dont have hade the LOS bug for u nuked all at the bled lord room with it before u got in even :)

and dont say Enchater are as bad as necromancer with the LOS bug ,for i dont know about Albs but Hibs dont nuke you for 200-400 with their LOS bug with their pets but Albs maybe are weeker :)
