No, i support Liverpool and Färjestad :) I follow Inter Milan cause Zlatan plays there and he is my favorite player.

It's not about buying success :( It's about selling your soul! :D

edit: Oh, and there is no doubt FC Copenhagen is better than the Swedish teams, so i agree with you there :p
They have a nice kit tho, especially the sponsor ;)

uh oh, Liverpool is co-owned by americans? how haven't they sold their souls?

I do like you lethul, but one of your comments above was rather unnecessary.

Anyway, I've had this discussion a zillion times already. You've clearly got the ears of a pregnant bull when it comes to football, so I can't be arsed to continue the discussion here ;)

I guess it's about how you interpret(sp) things. I don't think selling the club is selling your soul (it was a big over exaggerated but i found the sell soul line cool! ;) ), it's more down to modern football (if it's a good thing I'm not one to comment, it is however necessary to survive in todays football).

It's when you "remove" your history and take two rivals and mash them together as one. Maybe FCK isn't the biggest example of selling your soul, Red Bull Salzburg is a bigger villain :)

And i just noticed FCK is far older than I first thought, but still!

United will go out to Porto, Fergie's negative tactics will shaft em again in Europe.

Still can't believe we managed to salvage a draw against Villareal, we were clearly the worse team on the day. An away goal going into next leg will boost moral and help us not to mention playing at home. Fingers crossed.

Pretty easy to sum up that game really.

First half was very 50/50, two very good teams going up against each other.

Second half, where was Liverpool? That was just not good enough..

GG Chelsea, nice coming back from a very tough situation.

Still gutted tho, I can't believe Liverpool just crumbled like that :(

FFS i was just about to post

Breaking news, Michael Essien has been diagnosed as being around 12 stone overweight.

Confusion was cleared up once they found Steven Gerrard in his back pocket

Fuck you Marc :D

Should the two leading teams go through it should be fireworks in the semi finals

well it safe to say it a chelsea vs barcelona semi final. Liverpool need to win 3-0 at stamford bridge, i just cant see that happening to be honest. Chelsea looked strong in that second half and Liverpool were well, back to showing the inconsistancies.

Zonal marking.. really why the heck does he continue to insist on using that. lol

I was sleeping when this thing was on. I am sorry for myself now that I wasn't watching it because it looked like a good game from the sport report I just read. I am not disappointed, it's not the trophy I want. But I am thinking, indeed looking forward summer now and the conversations I will be having with people over several beers about why we won nothing this year :)

Possibly, but if previous matches are anything to go by it will be an epic event anyway.

The thing about Barcelona is they have yet to play any really strong sides, also when teams have gone at them, they have had problems defending.

Also i think we are the sort of team that would have a decent chance against them. We have a midfield that could dominate theres and reduce distribution to their attack, we'll be the first team with a solid defence they've played all season.

But we have to qualify first, still a lot to do in the 2nd leg.

What megadave says is right, Barcelona have destroyed average opposition (yes, that includes Bayern). It will be very interesting to see how they cope against Liverpool or Chelsea, as I think that they are the two English teams that have the best chance of beating them.

I think both could convincingly beat Barca, we'll have to wait and see I guess.

Chel$ki - Barce
Porto - Arsenal

Arsenal - Chel$ki final Arsenal to win and my £50 bet on Arsenal to win the CL when we were garbage becomes brilliant.

Porto - Chelsea final tbh :p

Also dont forget that Liverpool beat Madrid, so if we beat Liverpool we have basically won already. Stats dont lie!

2003 - Real lost to Juve in the semi. Milan beat Juve in the final.
2004 - Real lost to Monaco in the quarter. Porto beat Monaco in the final.
2005 - Real lost to juve in the 1/8. Liverpool beat Juve in the quarter. Liverpool won the title.
2006 - Real lost to Arsenal in the 1/8. Barca beat Arsenal in the final.
2007 - Real lost to Bayern in the 1/8. Milan beat Bayern in the quarter. Milan won the title.
2008 - Real lost to Roma in the 1/8. Man Utd beat Roma in the quarter. Man Utd won the title
2009 - Real lost to Liverpool in the 1/8...

Well since I can't gloat at all the Chel$ki fans for the thrashing we gave them, I can at least say that all the people whining a Chelsea/Liverpool champs league match was going to be like watching paint dry were wrong.

Nice to see both teams really go at each other first half (second half we didn't really show up), and we've now really got to attack them in the second leg to stand any chance so Tuesdays game could be a cracker as well.

Really hope Liverpool manage to get an early goal (first 10 mins) and the tie could be back on again, although I think we've left ourselves too much to do to have a realistic chance of going through.

i really cant see how Liverpool can win the tie, even with the fact Stamford bridge is no longer a fortress. They need to repeat the result they got at old trafford, and to be honest i dont think benitez has it in him to mastermind the needed comeback.
