Today i was camping gov with my blademaster and sudenly danos poped, cla comes running in with 4 fgs or so and kills danos just infront of me i know they can do that if u go after the CoC but still i think this is disrespecting other players who actualy spend their time on camping an artifact and i find it pretty lame... But what do you guys think, do u think its okay to just come bashing in and "steal" another persons artifact tho he spend 3 hours or more on camping it?

We let u in bg mate, we didnt ignore you for any reason, but sure, u where there solo, we alot more than u...ofc we could let u try solo first...

i dident ask to preclaim it m8,, i first asked u to w8,, got ignored,,, after a min i got inv to bg,, atleast u should have given me the chance to lotto... but really u should have waited i had 4 anis inc and a bard and thats more than enough.. and i was getting my ani there so yes i did run 2 accs but i was not afk.

I think the curteous thing to do would be to first ask the person if he has ppl inc to do it, if he has then wait a few minutes to let them get there and if noone shows tell him that you are going to do the arti and will let him in bg and ofcourse let him roll for it. Thats what I would have done atleast and most fair IMO.
Ofcourse there is gonna be a solo person camping it, it sure as hell wont be a fg sitting there and doing nothing, the person who wants the arti will be the one wasting quite a few hours sitting there waiting for it to pop and then get his friends there to help him get it done.
I agree that its rude as hell to not give him a cpl of minutes to get his friends there to get it done, or if not then atleast recognize his time spent there by giving him rollingrights.
Greed is incredible in this game nowadays tho, ever since artis came along, friendly just doesnt cut it anymore I guess, a shame though.

let make sure whenever this shite happens.. and it aint just CLA so dont poke them... peeps can at least get credit for artis.. invite the peeps around u/that pm u... etc.. share the joy if even its only credit.. we can get the cash to buy on the most part.. but credit is the thing. one day someone with credit for an arti u gave em could save your arses in rvr...

nah, that is kinda lame what they did, if they had a raid going for another arti, go kill that one, don't kill every other one in between that someone else might need just so one of your alts can use it, if someones main needs it then that's different, helping the realm. .. the real courteous thing to do was kill danos then givf him the arti, nice fair, loving

Guess I will have to supply the threadstarter and perhaps some other people here some reasoning for "our" behaviour last night. If you are expecting an appology, forget it. That you won't hear from me in this case.
On june 28th I announced a GG/AG raid for CLA on CLA forums. The Jacina's Sash being one of the artefacts on my to do list. GoV, CS as well and any other artefact being up in the area at that time. On CLA farm raids, often a number of over 30 people show up, hence I don't stick to just one artefact. That would be a waste of time getting all people together at one place.
After completing the Sash encounter we headed to GoV to see wether it was up. Noticing the healer guardmob being up (Halios?) we moved in and started pulling lesser centaurs close to daytime. No Danos. We had some people check daytime spot and no Danos there either. Had it been up we would have already pulled it at the daytime spot. During that whole time I've been keeping my eye out for 'the camper'. No sound came out of you. No remark was made about joining the bg.
We had some late comers join up and decided to do the braggarts encounter while waiting in the general GoV area. Having done braggarts and some other mobs we moved back to recheck GoV and CS. Right after night time set in, Danos popped. The camper, not having moved from his spot and not having spoken out in whichever way, was still camping.
I simply told people to fop up and shroom and pull the centaurs. After what seemed to be half a minute I get pmed to invite you into bg, which I do without any problem. Who am I to withhold encounter credit from other people.
The simple fact: Danos popped, we were there and had enough people to complete the encounter.
I can understand where you might feel wronged somehow but that is something you will have to deal with yourself. I'm thinking you could have spoken up sooner and at least you could have refrained making a fuss about things in bg after the encounter was done, including the threat to post about CLA here on FH. The first thing I noticed about you in bg was where you were throwing insults at CLA people, which, in my opinion, is not a very good start.
To top it all off, you never even asked me wether you could roll for the artefact.
To all other that have either started, replied or read the ongoing discussion here I want to say that the choice to pull Danos was purely mine. Judging an entire guild on a one man's decision is easily done but hardly reflects the nature of an entire (or close to) guild, be it a positive or negative decision.

Camping only achieves one thing, your there when the mob spawns, thats all.
It does not give you the sole ownership of the spawn, nor does it give you the "right" to the artifact regardless of who kills it.
You play this game with several hundred other players, learn to live with that.
