German GMs have basically informed me (cowardly, through the nice English GMs - note: not UK GM's fault!), that holding this raid might cause a zone crash and "prevent other's enjoyment".

I'd likely be banned or suspended of volunteer status, so I have to cancel the raid.

Well done, German GMs. Rather certain none on Excalibur would enjoy having the server crash or lag to hell because of a German zerg arriving in Alb or Hib on petspam classes. (I'm hardly impartial, ofc, playing on Avalon.)

There is a limit on server numbers "The server is full".

It's probably more to do with 200 x 20 pets being spammed at fgs of mids.

Almost the exact thing you tried to do happend on camlann, when pryd went down i saw fg's of thuergs running about everywhere.

They should make gorre available all the time like pendragon, ppl can duel from other servers using the /copychar commands

can also try out group setups etc

Personally, if 100 theurgs invaded Exc I'd love it; funny as fook.

Er well... we have some expierience with people causing zone crashes on purpose by summoning a shitload of lvl 20 pet spam classes to a certain spot... namely I think it was Rhein who led a zerg of more than 100 animists to the old amg on Dartmoor crashing classic Hib zone. Problem was, he wrote it that it was his explicit intent to crash the zone.

Besides what do you want to do with that invasion in Germany itself? The 50's were the years Germany had a problem with having a far to small workforce. Practically getting rid of all the unemployment here... ok, that is a bad one I admit.

Das hat nichts mit der Zonenstabilität oder irgendwelchen Nationalitäten-Fragen zu tun. Aber es wäre unfair gegenüber allen regulären Avalon-Spielern, die dann nicht mehr in die Grenzgebiete porten können, weil diese mit "/level 20"-Zerglingen verstopft sind.

Wir haben jedoch auch gleich einen Gegenvorschlag gemacht:
Mit /level 20 erstellen auf Cumbria
- alle UK-Spieler Albis (natürlich)
- alle deutschen Spieler Midis (liegt nahe) und
- alle französischen Spieler Hibis (wenn sie sich trauen)

und dann geht's ab.

That has nothing to do with any nationality conflicts. It would just be unfair to all the regular Avalon players who couldn't port to the frontier zones anymore because all the "/level 20" zerglings would block it.

We made a counter proposal:

All players start with /level 20 characters on "Cumbria":
- all UK players will play Albion (of course)
- all German players will play Midgard (suits best) and
- all French players will play Hibernia (if they have the courage)

and then let's rock.
