We're all more than happy to help new players, but somehow our desire to help them play an 'anally configured' version of Tribes 2 is lacking.

That intention was expressed in the most childish way possible, as indeed was your continued comments about the configuration of the servers.
Perhaps the Tribes 1 league settings for servers is a good starting point - I doubt that due to the influx of new players. I suggest that the Tribes 2 server settings need tweaking, and that you need to be more flexible in your attitude.

How may I ask was my post childish? I was stating in what I believe to be a grown up manner my opinions on what I believe is right to help new players learn Tribes 2 in the way it was intended to be played. I've not abused you, or newbies, yet you call my post childish?

All you've contributed to this thread so far (including you're previous post) is:
1. A justified attempt to get people to appreciate the work of Deathace and others.
2. Some really warped belief that all we want is to play Tribes (1) again with fancier graphics.

We would like the BarrysWorld servers to be configured in a manner so that all players old and new can play the game how the developers intended, and players new to the concept of Tribes can learn that this game is more than just point and click.
Now either come up with a reason why they shouldn't do the above, or go call someone else childish.
