Not really what I had in mind. Out of interest, what *can* you share? The nature of the information you have but not the info itself? Are you saying you have info on how piracy has affected the industry and if so, how is that possible? How exactly does one work out when a pirate would have otherwise purchased a product if the piracy route wasn't available?

Not really either I'm afraid. There are certain pieces of information that even the public can use to figure certain things out regarding sales etc. but they don't go to reveal some of the extreme levels of piracy that go on. As always, there is no 'real' way of telling which is a download that loses sales and which isn't, but there are trends and figures that are more than just coincidince, or aberrations. :)

Also, different market places suffer in different ways.

The problem is the motherboards really, good boards for the i7 are overly expensive and personally I don't rate the i5 as good value for money. As I said before though, step down a generation and you can get a good Intel system for your money but still be faster than a similarly priced AMD system. The only thing this won't offer you is future upgradeability, for that you really need to go the i7 route and spend an extra £100-150.

Why is that? To me the i5 looks excellent for gaming as you won't need "hyperthreading" etc as much?
