I didn't mean that cars couldn't reach 70 mph. Just that most cars back then without ABS etc were damned unsafe at anything above 70. Cars have come on a hell of a lot in the last two or three decades.

Anyway. Getting bored of this now

its a Vauxhall Astra, got it for about £500, had it mmm almost a Year now, no major problems (cept the steering)
