I've only got the 2005 figures to refer to and swedens TOTAL contribution was only about 10% of the uk contribution.. Although you could be talking net contribution as a percentage of total contribution. I was talking total net contribution..

THe uk was approximately 10 billion net contribution before rebate, so about 4.5bn afterwards. Germany was higher at about 7bn net, sweden was probably less than 1bn netherlands about 4 maybe.

Personally i think everyone shoudl get pissed off with france who pull huge agriculture subsadies and refuse to give them up, which is the reason why the UK won't give up it's rebate because we are sick to death of paying for french farmers to get pissed.
Shouldn't you be more worried about the amount payed per person, rather than the amount payed per country? Whatever your fellow Britons are paying doesn't really have anything to do with you, does it?

.

Iran hasnt done much more than piss people off, I reckon they're making as much fuss about this to try and distract people from the fact that they've still got a nuclear weapons program running.

i still cant see why ppl get so worked up over that. no matter how crazy the leaders of iran is theres just no way they could actually *use* those nukes (if they really have them) because theres so many more countries that have them to.

u know what i think? i think Iran makes them to prevent USA to fuck about in shit they have nothing to do with. they dont want another Iraq where USA and UK make up excuses and lies just for the pleassure of invading another oil ritch country again...

and before anyone comes with the normal cliché type answers.. look at who's invading first.
