Shouldn't you be more worried about the amount payed per person, rather than the amount payed per country? Whatever your fellow Britons are paying doesn't really have anything to do with you, does it?I've only got the 2005 figures to refer to and swedens TOTAL contribution was only about 10% of the uk contribution.. Although you could be talking net contribution as a percentage of total contribution. I was talking total net contribution..
THe uk was approximately 10 billion net contribution before rebate, so about 4.5bn afterwards. Germany was higher at about 7bn net, sweden was probably less than 1bn netherlands about 4 maybe.
Personally i think everyone shoudl get pissed off with france who pull huge agriculture subsadies and refuse to give them up, which is the reason why the UK won't give up it's rebate because we are sick to death of paying for french farmers to get pissed.
