Yeah but i'd recon there are some peeps here that have US accounts. Think some of them mentioned that they also billed on closed accounts >.<

Yeah of course, also update on camelotherald says that they are fixing it, but quite a tedious procedure - for something that should not have happened in the first place

I mailed Mystic about me not beeing able to resub my 3th and 4th account. this was so "difficult" that i had to call support (001 (650) 628 1001)
after phonesupport for 50min from Norway they tell me to mail support.


i still wait for resubbing and getting MoH and bracer on all my classic toons


they dont want my money but like all the US cash

We have confirmed with our vendor that players who have been charged multiple times for their subscriptions should start to see a reversal of charges as soon as possible, starting tomorrow during normal business hours. For those who may have been charged with overdraft fees from your financial institution, please follow the below instructions:



Please have your financial institutions phone number at hand.
Please contact our billing department by calling 650-628-1001. Please note that our billing phone support hours are 10:00 AM EDT - 10:00 PM EDT 7 days a week.

Advise the billing agent that you have been charged multiple times and, as a result, overdrafted. At this point you may be transferred to a higher tier of support. You will be placed on hold while being transferred.
The billing agent will need to verify with you the number of times you have been overcharged.
The billing agent will then conference call your financial institution with you on the line to verify with their representative the overcharges. During this portion of the call the Agent will need to ask/confirm with your financial institution the following:
You were charged incorrectly from Mythic Entertainment.
The overcharges are being refunded to those affected.
We will then ask your financial institution to waive any overdraft fees.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience that this issue may be causing our players and are working diligently to avoid instances of this occurring in the future. Please continue to watch the Herald in the coming days for further information regarding this issue.

I survived somehow, I pay for 2 x US accts via visa and no additional debits thankfully as phoning from Australia isn't an option, no way they could confirm what was taken over the phone when it's 3am here

So far I seem to have lucked out, nothing unexpected on my credit card...

Still this is a major cockup, some people have apparantly been hit with huge overdraft fees (27$ Penalty each time and billed 50x)...

Ouch. Will check when I get home. Cancelled all my accounts until the transfer so doubt I have been hit.

With those sorts of charges having to be covered it could well wipe out a few months subs income, pretty massive fail unless they can somehow sweet talk the banks.

Yeah just spoke to Pep on Vent, I have the same thing.

I have 2 US daoc accounts;
1st Billed on 22nd Feb
2nd Billed on 1st March

So in theory, my next billing dates should be;
22nd March
1st April

I have not been charged for either...

Could well be. Read somewhere some people have bin billed up to $2000,- (multiple accounts charged a number of times)... Debit charges from the banks, not enough money to pay for this or that, you name it.

If some lawyer finds that there's money to be made, things could get interresting.

ouch, that is a bitch.

But just looked on VNboard for a laugh.. and saw a post from someone that has 9 accounts. Apparently in total they been billed for $4999. That has to hurt!

I am wondering what the banks are up to though. If they see so many charges for the same amount, from the same company at the same time then surely the system should pick up on something being a bit dodgy.
